ComfySure Pregnancy Full Body Pillow - U Shaped Maternity and Nursing Cushion with Removable White Cover - Back, Neck Hip Support and Relief - Firm and Plush Review: good one - good one Review: Comfy - but make it work for you! - Around 25 weeks pregnant, I was so excited to get a pillow to make sleeping more comfortable and safe since I’m normally a stomach and back sleeper. After doing a lot of research on the S-shaped and C-shaped body pillows, I decided the U-shaped one was for me. This one was the best price and had great reviews, so I decided to go for it. When it arrived, it fluffed up nicely and the case was soft and appeared to be of good quality. I washed it right away with no issues. The first night sleeping with it, I used it the standard way with the closed curve up by my head. To my disappointment, I hated having to weave my bottom arm in and out several times a night as I switch sides often. If I didn’t weave my arm, I felt confined. I also missed the feeling of my beloved latex foam pillow under my head. But I wasn’t ready to give up! I flipped the pillow upside down with the closed part at the bottom, and viola - that made it perfect! I could sleep on my own pillow and still prop my knees and hips up while easily turning over inside of the U-shape. It also feels really nice to prop your ankle up slightly higher if you don’t need the knee/hip support for a moment. I’ve slept very comfortably ever since and would highly recommend using the pillow this way if you have a similar problem. Overall I’m very pleased with the quality of the pillow and the case. I even bought one for my mother in law who has hip issues because of arthritis and she loves it.

Comfy - but make it work for you!

If you suffer from any kind of back/neck/Hip Pain this Will change your life!!!!!!!
This Has changed my Life! As a person with Lyme disease, Ehlers-Danlos, R.A. & fibromyalgia I have unbelievable back, neck and sciatic pain. I have gotten spinal injections for over 7 years this is the only thing that gives me relief from my pain and helps me to lay in a comfortable position!!! & My 15-year-old daughter who has issues of her hips always popping out of place was in severe pain last night and I let her borrow it this is the first time in weeks she has woke up without pain and begged me to buy her one as well!!!! ( The only thing that I wish is that it was a little bit longer, I am 5'8" and if I lay out completely straight it goes to my mid calf, but... I use my regular pillow for my head and flipped this body pillow so that the head part is at my ankles and the long parts to my sides and it works perfect!!!! ) So if you're thinking about getting this just because you have back pain I would HIGHLY recommend it and I am a VERY HOT sleeper usually and was worried about it making me hotter but it doesn't in my experience. My daughter usually tosses and turns so much she pulls the sheets off her bed every night last night when she borrowed it she woke up in the same position she fell asleep in and said it was the best sleep she's ever had!!

Yep, it's a pillow.
It may be hard for me to talk about this pillow. It's a comfortable pillow, but I still don't sleep well at night. I'm not pregnant, just fat. And I'm a man too; so I really can't blame the pillows failures in any way. I was not the designed end user for this pillow at all. One complaint I might have about this product, is that usually you get some kind of a "customer survey postcard" you can fill out and send in, this pillow did not have one. Most companies don't really care about what you write, they just want to "go through the motions" of making you think they care. Some companies though... want to improve. They want to take in all the suggestions and data about their customers experience with their product and use it to make a better, more competitive product. On the survey for this pillow though, I imagine that within the first five questions they would ask is whether or not you are a female and if you are pregnant. Since I wouldn't even be able to answer Yes to the former, there would be no need to even answer the later. I have agonized over this review and whether or not this pillow deserves 4 stars or 4.5 stars. It's a good pillow. I can't speak to the craftsmanship. I know very little of textiles or furniture accessories or medical supplies or whatever classifications "pillows" fall into. Decor maybe? Wow, I never really realized how complicated and enigmatic pillows are. So poetic that while they are the chariots that takes us to dreamland; they somehow maintain such an elusive and mysterious place in our world. It's soft but has some substance to it. And when I use this pillow it supports me better than any other pillow I have ever purchased. It makes me feel like a well supported (and slightly bearded)child, tucked gently into his bed by the god of sleep himself. To be completely honest, this pillow is a little decadent for me. Usually I am a little conservative in my bedding. BEDDING! that's it. Decor too, I suppose though. And medical; if consider how critical a goods nights rest is. Yep, pillows are multifaceted and maintain a whole spectrum of nuanced and blessed roles in our lives. The only reason I can't quite hit that full 5 star on this particular pillow though is because they sent me "review our product" email. I guess that sort of is like a survey postcard... but still. Nobody takes the time to hand write letters anymore either, and I feel like it's that lack of personal touches that have eroded our society. However, I digress. The fact that it is 1am and I am still awake is sort of (in a roundabout way) the pillows fault. That's why it isn't a perfect pillow. If you are a pregnant woman (or pregnant man by some unfamiliar to me circumstance) I can't give you an open and honest opinion on whether or not this the pillow is for you. As a man, I have not earned a proper respect for what it must be like for you right now. All those hormones and fears and excitements cycling through your mind must make pillows seem a trivial thing. Backpain however making the need for a good pillow a desperate necessity at the very same time. I wouldn't presume to know if this is the best pillow for you on this stage of your journey through life. But, if you are a non pregnant man with some emotional eating issues, this pillow is the best I've ever had. It's not perfect, but what would I know about being perfect anyway? Welp, goodnight. Good luck to you on your pillow shopping!
