Love this thing. What takes other guys in the company hours to do, takes me literally half or a quarter of the time to do. Obviously depending on the length and amount of pipe I'm doing, but most whole home gas lines I can get done in around 2 hours with this thing. It never lets loose, its high quality, and I dont have to worry about it falling apart. Worth every penny.

I spent 4 decades in industrial construction and now I play with tools in my home shop. We always used the name brand tools in the field and shop but I needed a chain vise at home for making fence post extensions. I needed something to hold my post sections while I expanded them to make slip joints.I rednecked up a mount for the vise and did about 30 extensions using the most powerful 1/2" impact I could find. I ended up destroying the thrust bearing in my expander but the vise never hiccuped. I would not hesitate to use this vise on a job site.
