2-in-1 Lip & Cheek Stain Rose, 0.10 fl oz, Rosey Pink hydrating, long-lasting, matte lip and cheek color

I was on the fence about purchasing this product due to mixed reviews but I’m so happy that I eventually did. I have used it almost everyday on my lips and cheeks, it looks beautiful with some lip liner and clear lip balm (I use Mac’s Whirl and Rosebud Salve.) I am all about stains and was a devoted Benetint gal but stopped because of the chemicals. This is BLOOD red, which I love as an elder goth. It looks gorgeous with my pale skin and black hair. Some may not be into this shade but it’s a beautiful blood red, not rusty on the skin. It is also a low maintenance product and the applicator is great. I will definitely be re-purchasing as soon as I run out. Update: This product has seemingly gone bad and it’s not even a month old, it’s not pigmented anymore and smells funny. The price has gone up by nearly 5 dollars. I will be looking for a similar product instead of re-purchasing.

I purchased this product and the applicator broke after a few uses. I returned and got a replacement and that applicator broke as well, Love the product but faulty applicator.

Hi, I love this product, but this is the 3rd bottle I've had and the 3rd time that the applicator has come off of the stick within the first application. I have had two bottles of this before that I got from the clearance section at the store. And it happened both times with those, and I thought it wouldnt happen if I bought it brand new, but nope. I love the product itself though, the color, the light taste on the lips, so I just have to use a q-tip everytime I use it which is not convenient.

Finally I have found something to replace the stain I used to use for YEARS until it was discontinued. Been looking all over for this stuff, you have no idea. Key attributes I was looking for were a) water-based gel, b) buildable and c) convincing as a natural flush. I use it on lips, cheeks, and tip of nose. If done correctly, the finish is very natural and convincing. I recommend going as sheer as possible on your first pass, and building sheer layers from there. Doesn’t take much. Blend and blur light layers with finger tips. Stays for hours. Long-lasting. On lips, I do a light layer or two and swipe on some chapstick over it, and it just makes me look fresh and healthy. Doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup at all. I don’t recommend going heavy on your first application because that’s where you get the patchiness people complain about with this product. Has to be done on dry, moisturized skin, whether it be lips or cheeks. You do have to reapply if you’ve been eating or drinking but that’s obviously going to happen with any lip product unless it’s like a thick product that’s shellacked on the lips, like a long wear matte lipstick. Sounds weird but hear me out - the merlot shade is almost exactly the color of blood, which is what I want because it makes me look like I have an actual flush and good circulation (which I don’t). This shade is IMPOSSIBLE to find in this type of formula, I have literally been searching for years. No major makeup or beauty brands make this shade in a water based gel. This stuff is literally an answer to my prayers. Hope they never discontinue this product!!!

I adore the color, like fresh blood. I had to try it the second i got it! It doesn't really "stain" it comes off quite easy which can be a pro i guess but I'd prefer personally that it be harder to remove. You also don't get a lot for your money. I will still be purchasing again.

Faulty applicator. I bought this product at a local store, applicator tip broke off first use. I returned it. They didn't have another, sonI ordered from Amazon. Same exact thing happened the first day it was opened and used. I have tried to apply with just the plastic tube part but it is uneven and splotches and horrible. I'd appreciate a full refund.

If they could just fix the packaging, it would be a perfect product. It leaks everywhere, and I have to be really careful so it doesn’t stain everything. I’ve also had a couple applicators break off after one use, as others have mentioned. Obviously, I’ve continued to purchase it because I like the product itself, but the consistently horrible packaging has me reconsidering. A makeup product, especially a lip product, should be able to handle being moved around a lot in a purse…. the brand’s website is no help.

It looks good when applied but goes away in minutes.
