Works great, product as abvertised

This is replacement for my deck's lighting, which the previous transformer overheated and died. This model, though, has an aluminum case, lots of fins to it, and tends to cool itself better. That should result in a longer life.Also, per the instructions, which were written pretty clearly, I've mounted this to a metal backing (i used a piece of metal studding) which results in better cooling.

I'm constructing a hot wire foam cutter which needs a 12vDC 60W power supply with constant voltage. Switching power supplies will not work since the current will not be constant and will not heat the Nichrome wire sufficiently enough to cut through foam. I was disappointed with the misleading description and ordered a different, Constant Voltage power supply from AspectLED. Project is delayed as a result of the misleading description.

Make sure you have a match for wattage.This was an ideal and reasonable replacement.

Working perfectly for 3months

No complaints about this LED driver. It works as advertised. But if you shop around you can find similar drivers for a few bucks less.

Robust, weatherized converter. The hefty heat sink exterior indicates a solid thermal management design for service life.Excellent performance. Better than expected.
