Lightailing Light Kit Compatible with Lego 10312 Jazz-Club

We love our lighttailing sets for our modular buildings. The instructions take some getting used to but once you get it it works. the wires hide easily and it gives our lego city so much more life day or night

I really like the professional level packaging, instructions, and the entire kit. This is a must if you’re building the Jazz Club. This was my first lighting kit. I thought it would be frustrating but it was a delight to put together and see everything light up!

Bought this to light up jazz club. There are a few different strands that are separate from the main one which plugs into the USB power block. I immediately noticed there was no end piece or anything to connect it to the main strand which is usb powered. The manual is very vague and the instructions are just as bad, so I didn’t get any information about it there. I was able to figure it out eventually. Each strand connects by using a piece that has adhesive on one side and metal connector pads on the other. This relies on pressure to keep each of the strands connected. I have used another lighting set for another brick building and this is the first time I’ve seen this. The other one had a connector piece at the end of each strand and ran back to the main power block. The power block powered the entire strip. Relying on constant pressure and not a secured plastic connector is a bad idea and this is going to be prone to failure.

Ease to put together, really adds the extra detail to Lego set. Have gotten more for my other Lego sets

Somewhat disappointed in the product. The directions are a bit hard to follow and some images in the book are dark and hard to decipher. More importantly, once all the lights were installed (correctly I might add), the second and third floor lights didn’t want to stay on without extra pressure applied to the plates. The MOST disappointing thing is that the roof will NOT sit flush now because of the connectors! The roof is just resting on top, not connected properly (see pic). I’m very disappointed and won’t buy this brand of lighting again.

While some Lego lighting for buildings tend to start from the top of the building and wire its way down, this particular set worked from the bottom up and had contact points in order for it to connect and light up. Very cool, once completed but definitely make sure our bricks are locked in tight for even, smooth distribution of the lights.

These kits are great. Unlike previous light kits, the modules can be taken apart without worrying about breaking wires.

It looked great when all assembled! That lasted for about 30 seconds before I started to smell something burning. The usb plug had started to melt!!! THIS THING IS A FIRE HAZARD!!!!! I’m really disappointed, because it did look genuinely impressive for those first 30 seconds after finishing.

Impossible une fois monté de faire fonctionner les lumières au niveau des étages. Seul le Rez de Chaussé fonctionne. La connexion avec les autres étages ne marche pas. Et Lightailing refuse de prendre en charge le remplacement parce que acheté chez Amazon mais pas dans l'onglet boutique Lightailing. Et la date de retour Amazon est dépassée. Une véritable usine à gaz et 50 € de perdu

Great addition to the Lego line.

Immer wieder schön zu sehen, wenn ein Lego Modell plötzlich im Licht erstrahlt. Der Einbau ist wie immer etwas fummelig, aber macht total Spaß. Diese Marke hat mich bisher nicht enttäuscht.

Nach drei Stunden rumbasteln ist der Jazzclub endlich erleuchtet... Musste die kontaktblättchen selber neu positionieren, da die Beleuchtung in den oberen Stockwerken nicht funktionierte... Hat mich echt nerven gekostet, nun geht es, dank meiner Bastelleidenschaft... Ansonsten gute Qualität der Ware...

Das hat mir keinen Spaß gemacht. Die Kontaktflächen zwischen den einzelnen Etagen funktionieren nicht richtig. Licht gab es manchmal wenn zusätzlicher Druck auf die Etagen gegeben wurde. Würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen.
