The kettle came with a round 2 pin plug. However when I contacted the sellers they immediately sent an adapter.It looks larger than I expected. This is possibly due to the cream banding and base. The handle on the lid looks a little delicate in comparison to the size of the kettle though I see that other dome kettles are similar. But durability shouldn't factor if, like me, you mostly fill through the spout.The minimum fill is 1.2 litres - which I feel is quite a lot.After the first use, I found the water level indicator difficult due to see due to condensation inside. I presume this will clear. Will see how long it takes.It is quieter than my current kettle but it takes longer for the auto shut off to kick in. Will time it when I next use it but at first I thought it wasn't going to stop!It's a pretty and distinctive kettle. I hope I can keep the handle clean as it's a matt finish rather than shiny porcelain or whatever.

This kettle looks very attractive when you first get it, but the quality of the paintwork is actually poor and comes off easily. It also seems to take ages to boil. There are better kettles for cheaper prices.
