Exactly what I expected
This cord was what I expected. It was a replacement for one I had misplaced and it did exactly what I needed it to do.

NOT A GENUINE CANON CABLE, BUT IT WORKS JUST FINE
I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking of purchasing this cable that is most definitely NOT a genuine Canon USB cable, but that it works just fine. I lost the original cable to my camcorder and bought this as a replacement, and it works just fine. I don't like the fact that they identify this as an OEM cable, but as long as it works and the price is right, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Not what its advertised to be!!!!!
I looked up the USB connection to the Canon Vixia G10 camcorder. I actually ordered two from Amazon having been warned that it may not be the correct connection.Sure enough, it was not! Neither of them.The connection for the Vixia G10 is unique for that machine... so someone needs to sharpen the pencil be more accurate.Frustrated

Not the right cabel
Was sent a usb to mini usb cable. I ordered a canon cord not a mini usb that I have ten of at home the canon xa 10 uses a special cord if you need a canon cord call canon trust me on this onetook me 30 min on the phone to have canon track down this cord for me
