🥊 *Creed III* – A Personal Knockout Experience
🥊 *Creed III* – A Personal Knockout Experience**⭐ **Rating: 5/5**Watching *Creed III* felt like stepping into the ring myself—it was **intense, emotional, and visually striking** in a way that completely pulled me in. Michael B. Jordan not only delivers a phenomenal performance as Adonis Creed, but his **directorial style adds a fresh, cinematic energy** that makes this entry stand out.The dynamic between Adonis and **Damian Anderson**, played by Jonathan Majors, is the beating heart of the film. Their history, their rivalry, and the **unspoken tension** that builds up throughout the story make every fight feel **deeply personal**. When they finally face off, it’s not just about boxing—it’s about **proving something to themselves and each other**.What really hit me was the **growth of Adonis as a character**. Without Rocky as his mentor this time, he’s fully stepping into his own legacy, balancing **fatherhood, past regrets, and his future**. The fight scenes were **brutal, beautifully choreographed, and cinematic**, almost feeling like a live-action anime at times. The way the film plays with perspective, slow motion, and emotional weight makes it feel **more than just a sports drama—it’s a full experience**.### **Final Verdict:**🥊 *Creed III* is **a gripping, visually stunning sequel** that delivers raw emotion, high-stakes action, and a personal story that truly resonates. Whether you’re here for the fights or the deeper character moments, this one does not disappoint!

Slow movie, but the final fight scene is what makes it
There is one common theme among all the Rocky franchise movies: each installment is an underdog story. This one has several underdog stories tied together in one movie. The way they've shown Adonis Creed fighting is IMO unrealistic. It's like he gets the life beaten out of him in every fight he ever enters, gets ribs broken, all kinds of showstoppers happening to him.....and somehow he not only gets medical clearance to continue fighting, but he comes out of exhaustion to pull a glorious knockout punch out of his @$$ and wins by the skin of his teeth. And then you have to sit there and listen to some corner talk which isn't realistic corner talk (I think they were running into the wall of keeping it real vs. keeping it entertaining for the general audience). Some of the training strategies aren't things a coach would have you doing in a million years. I guess it's a good story, but a lot of things don't really add up. Especially with Damian's storyline (I won't spoil anything here). Also, the idea of two guys from the same gym and having the same coaching staff, contending for the heavyweight title is just absurd. And I really wanted to see Rocky again, but it appears the franchise has moved away from Rocky and on to Donny. All that said, I really liked all the slow-mo sequences they did. And even though I was about to turn the movie off, my husband insisted on watching it all the way through (he's not a boxer so all the things I was picking apart don't really bother him), and I'm so glad we did. The final fight is really really well done. Not the typical Donny getting destroyed in every round. They show the fight actually from the viewpoint of BOTH fighters' perspectives. Oh, and in ten years, we're probably going to see Donny and Biana's offspring pick up the torch and continue the Rocky/Creed franchise, which I'm really looking forward to. And, as usual, they left all modern-day political/social issues out of the movie, which I really appreciate.

it's alright
the problem is, the first creed movie was excellent.. 2 was pretty good... and now 3 is alright in comparison.. of course we all know 4 is the best.. so cant wait for that.on that note, too many reviews are calling this a rocky movie, its not. its set in the same universe, but there is a reason these movies are called "creed" and not "rocky: creed" or whatever. its it's own thing. sure its pretty much the same formula, and gives nods to rocky, but it's NOT a rocky movie. if you let go of that, its much better.still.. 3.. i dunno. the story didnt really do it for me. not that it was bad, but it felt rushed, and like half the movie got cut. there was really no build up. it was just, here's a new opponent, here's the fight, end. it feel likes theres is 2 hours of build up that got cut out. dame never really felt like a threat, or major obstacle that creed had to overcome. on top of that, he lacked the "villian" persona, in the sense that you didnt think he needed his teeth knocked down his throat like clubber lang, or ivan drago in the rocky series. they tried to make him a bad guy, but in the end it just doesnt feel that way. so lack of challenge, and not emotional investment leading into the main event, just felt "meh". the fight itself was an interesting take, except that feel like 2/3rds of it was cut too. the fight starts, and suddenly its the last round.even with all of those complaints, its still a watchable movie, especially for those invested in entire rocky universe.. it just isnt going to be remembered as the best of the bunch.
