Perfect for the camper. Made sturdy and easy to turn on and off. It is quite bright for how small it is.

I really wanted little lanterns for my 5 $ 6 yr olds, these looked great but I only wanted 2. Blue and orange. But since you can’t pick the color, I decided to order 4 in hopes that I would get one of each color. I did. I’m very happy that they didn’t double the colors and decided to keep them all. They are pretty solid and sturdy and very bright. We love them. Hopefully they last a while. So far, highly recommend.

Great little light. Sturdy and the kiddos love it. 3 issues that slightly detract: 1: cant chose the color, its luck of the draw... my 3 year old has opinions about color... 2: a bit too bright (odd complaint i know but kiddos have sensitive eyes 3: No auto shut off. it would be nice if it turned itself off after a bit to save batteries when used by forget full kids.

It was smaller than I expected but it is a powerful little light. I think it going to be fine for a child.

I don't often leave reviews on products anymore because I just don't have time. Something has to be exceptionally poor quality or exceptionally good quality for me to take the time. In this case, it's the first, poor quality. I would expect more from a brand like Coleman. I'm actually surprised this product still has such a high rating. Where do I begin? First of all, unless something has changed... you can't actually pick your color...like, what? "Ok", I said when I ordered, but I didn't care for it. I got pink, which of course was the color I least wanted lol. What if you're purchasing for a child who's not into pink? Second, be aware it is very small.. which I knew when ordering, but still not crazy about it. I overlooked these things because I was purchasing it for my small classroom of students (like 10 to 12 kids at the absolute max) to use when we do seated sharing and stories on the rug with our toy campfire, mostly as a "talking" stick of sorts to be passed around with the lights on. So bright light or large size wasn't a necessity nor was color...but if they were a priority for you I could see how this would be disappointing. The main issue is the quality of this product...I opened the battery compartment and by the time I put batteries in and put back together the thing hardly holds together...this is before children have even put hands on it. I've tried and tried to screw it together but it just comes apart. I've tried to use it a couple of times with the kids but it just comes apart in our hands no matter how careful we are. Of course, for the price, I'm not hassling to return it. I live in a small town and have to drive 30 minutes to return items for Amazon. Anyway, it sits atop a shelf in the classroom looking tiny and pathetic. For shame.

Bought this for my toddler for a camping trip. It’s really, really cute, just the right size for him. I was disappointed that you can’t pick the color - we got pink, which is the my least favorite of the four pictured. It seems to be fairly sturdy, but it is SO bright. I’m a little afraid it will hurt his eyes.

My kids (3 and 5 years old) love lanterns and have dropped and broken SO many lanterns and flashlights, but not these!! They love the looks and functionality of these, and I love their durability. They have been dropped on wood and tile floors multiple times now and still work perfectly! Love these!!

Toddler Grandson enjoys this little lantern. It appears to be durable.
