Absolutely perfect! Adjustable height, a little helpful drawer, the tilt is so useful for ergonomic reasons! The bamboo is lovely and worth the price,, way out does the plastic ones. What brought me to buying this item was my girlfriend needing a solid and dependable professional quality desk for painting and drawing, as she doesn't like to work at a desk and the coffee table she had been using was not suited for the task. I'm always hesitant buying an item with this many moving parts. Between the built-in drawer, adjustable height legs, adjustable angle of the desk surface, and the hinges/tabs that move all the parts, I was expecting there to be some aspect of this desks design or build quality to be sub-optimal. Opening it up was a very pleasant surprise! Immediately I noticed the solid weight for its size, not too heavy but weighty enough to feel confident in its sturdiness. the finish on the bamboo is incredibly smooth, and the cuts are extremely precise. The legs fold in perfectly and there are extra metal tabs to hold them in once folded, all of the design intuitively makes sense and feels good to use. The user experience has obviously been well thought-through, the screws that adjust the height are a soft and smooth plastic that match the rubber feet in color, plus there are two sizes of rubber feet, one for when the legs are extended and one for when they're shorter, awesome! The slots that the adjustable section of the desk slot into are deep and do not wobble, and there are just enough different slots to have plenty of control over the angle you're working at. The adjustable legs do not have pre-made slots and so can be adjusted to exactly the right height, as well as plenty of freedom in how tall or short you make it. This along with the smooth bamboo make it very comfortable to work at, it's a joy to see her so happy and not having to worry about having enough room or being cramped up against a coffee table. The only thing other than praise I have to say is the cuts of wood were so precise, and so fresh, that a bit of WD-40 or other lubricant is definitely recommended to get the latches moving smoothly out of the box, as well as helping the drawer and the adjustable section of the desk to glide smoothly against each other. Time as well would I'm sure break things in all the same, so it's not much of a criticism, more of a note. All in all I have to admire the incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail of the design and craftsmanship, this is obviously a company with a lot of experience and passion for what they make. The literature included shows just how seriously they take their product, including all the information you might need to care for a piece of bamboo furniture, with a 3-year warranty to boot, you really can't do any better than that!

This is a very sturdy, high quality tray table. The legs adjust, the section in the middle angles up for a laptop or tablet, or it could be used to draw or paint, there's a drawer too. It's a little heavy but that's to be expected with how well made it is.

The table looks really well made and sturdy, it's a bit heavier than expected but it's not meant to be carried around that much anyways. The material looks good and the surface feels really smooth. It looks like an artisan's craft and that's its charm, but that means of course that not all the tables will be exactly the same and little defects might be more common. In my case one of the legs was a little loose and it used to fall back to a standing position after folding it, but thankfully it came with a tool to adjust those screws so I already fixed that problem. The drawer, on the other side, is not well adjusted so it opens very easily, I think it fell short on a few measurements. But the biggest issue in my case is that none of the leg latches fits into place to secure the legs in the standing position, again it looks like a measurement issue, I've seen other reviews where they fit perfectly, I'm afraid of forcing them in and damaging the legs, so I won't. But anyways even if they fitted I think that the metal pieces might end up cracking the legs at some point, it would be better to use metal to protect the holes where the latches fit so they aren't in direct contact with the wood But overall I really liked it and it would be perfect if I had gotten one without any defects

This is a great value for a solid bamboo portable desk. The machining is well done and the hardware well placed. It folds up nicely and I really appreciate the wider dimensions, the adjustable height, and the well placed details. The finish seems to be of good quality and most of the hardware looks durable. Overall I am impressed so far with the desk however there are a few points I would wish could be addressed. 1- It would helo a lot if it came with a cloth travel bag. There are loose parts and the drawer likes to slide open so keeping it all contained in transit when out in the field would help a lot. 2- I wish the cell phone slot was a little deeper to allow for phones with a case to be able to fit in it. 3- The plastic wing nuts on the adjustable legs should be replaced with metal. Maybe they'll hold up but why waste time with plastic hardware?

There are so many lap desks on this here shopping site, but this one ticks all the boxes for quality and versatility. Highly recommended if you need to work from bed. It is a solidly, thoughtfully constructed item—not flimsy in the least. The adjustable middle pane makes it easier for you to see your screen and type without contorting your wrists and hands. Alternatively, you can lower that adjustable pane and remove the ledge on which the laptop rests if you want a flat surface for eating, playing games, writing with pen and paper, etc. The little drawer is handy for storing that removable ledge, pens, and more. And then the desk can be stored flat (the legs fold up) so it doesn’t take up too much space when not in use. Highly, highly recommend!

I was originally on the market for a laptop table that'd allow me to work on my laptop on my bed for hours on end. It gets a bit concerning for my posture when I realize I'm always hunched over my laptop. After purchasing this table though, I'd say that both working on my bed and eating on it has become more convenient and less messy! My laptop is about 17" so I knew it might be a little difficult to find a table to accommodate that size and also enough space for mouse usage. This table does have that tilting table feature, I haven't tried it with my laptop though. I doubt it'd be a problem since the stand to keep the tilt table seems sturdy enough. I like the phone holder as well. There's a convenient opening underneath the space to continue charging your phone while keeping your phone in place. Although, the space won't fit my phone(iphone 6S+) when it's wearing its slim cover case I wouldn't say it's the most lightest laptop table out there, but it does feel like the more sturdier and simplistic looking one. Would've been cool if the small pullout drawer on the side could've held my mouse, but it's certainly enough space to keep stray pencils, pens and smaller stationary items.

I have struggled to find tables of this size that let me turn them into a floor or bed desk (they're either too low or too high), so this one really stood out. It works fine but the surface is uneven: the middle of the table lifts to become a drawing table but it doesn't sit flush and even with the rest of the table when it's lying down which makes for a frustrating experience. The polish and construction isn't great and to be honest, the table is very overpriced for what it is. I can't imagine it should have cost more than 60-70 CAD.

This table is so much better than I was expecting. The legs lock into place, making it incredibly sturdy. It's wider than many of the others available making it more useable. I work from home regularly and I can fit a laptop and a portable 15 inch monitor side by side on this desk. The middle section acts like an easel and I find it great for paint by numbers, I can put the canvas on the easel and paint, water, brushes etc on the flat sides. It's such a great design. I'm also impressed with how smooth the surface is. I love bamboo products, but they can be a little rough. Oh, and it arrived a few days earlier than promised which doesn't happen often to New Zealand.

Got this for my 12yr old for Christmas. She loves her art and often draws while watching tutorials on her iPad. We were looking at getting a full desk/draftsman desk however she pretty much always ends up doing everything from her bed. Saw this and thought it may work. It's fantastic. It comes fully together. No need to construct. It's extremely easy to adjust the height. The slot they show to fit your phone in doesn't fit a full-size iPad nor her phone as the case makes it too thick but there is enough room for her to sit it next to herself while drawing. The workmanship is beautiful. Good quality. She takes it everywhere now. She's not been without it since she opened in on Christmas day. She sits in the lounge with it drawing while watching tv with us. Takes it to her bed and watches her iPad or draws. She eats her meals on it. Really good buy. Very Happy

Lovely little desk perfect for my caravan. I can sit cross legged under it easily and it is nice and sturdy. Seems well made with a nice smooth finish. Love the little draw. Would definitely recommend.
