Bought this as a “cotton” wedding anniversary for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She loves the luxurious feel, the perfect weight, thickness and length. I love the feel of this robe -- it's soft, thick, and plush. It does seem a bit prone to snagging. I don't wear it every day and already I'm noticing some stray threads. But it still feels great and it's still much nicer than most of the robes I've seen. I like that it is 100% cotton. Would buy again.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife. Based on the description and some reviews I decided to go with this instead of another brand known to be soft and plush. While this robe is of good quality, weight and is well made, it is far from plush. I expected it to be very soft and tender to the touch, it is neither. We did follow the washing instructions before the first use. It might have gotten slight softer to the touch after the initial wash and drying, but was not plush. Perhaps as it is worn more and has another few washes it might soften up. I am not happy with this but my wife is happy and wants to keep the robe so we will. If it were for me, I would have returned it and purchased the first brand I wanted,
