This is my third Shark vacuum and there is a reason I keep buying them! They just work, period. My daughter is moving into her own apartment for the first time and wanted the same Shark we already had. It doesn't seem to still be available so I let her take it with her and got a new one for myself. I do also own a lift away but find it a little too heavy to carry around. The super long hose on this item achieves the same thing and is way easier to use. Assembly was very easy and no tools were needed. All of the components just click into place and probably took two minutes to assemble. I have learned over time that the two included attachments are the only ones I really use and both can be stored right onboard the vacuum. I love that both the foam and felt filters can be rinsed in water and do not need to be repurchased. That being said, I usually buy another set anyway so that I can rinse one set and still be able to use the vacuum while they completely dry out. As for the performance, it works really well. The ability to easily adjust the level of suction right from the handle means that I can go from a throw rug, to an area rug, to a wood floor quickly and easily. The swivel operates flawlessly and makes maneuvering a breeze. And the extension of the hose is great. To reach the ceiling, I don't have to do any heavy lifting or stretching. The dust bin is quite large and is also easy to release and empty. This particular item might not have a tons of bells and whistles, but it just works. For 95% of my tasks, it's all I need. And it is a great value! Every single one of my Shark vacuums are still working great, and I'm sure this item is no exception. For the price, it has everything I need and really exceeded my expectations once I used it. I don't see any reason to spend three or fours times the cost of this item on any other vacuum, when this item does the job. Highly recommended!

VERY easy to put together! Super lightweight and worked like a charm. Most of my house is hardwood, with only 1 bedroom and a good sized family room being carpeted. I didn’t need anything super big or fancy. Just something bagless, easy to store, and that actually worked! And the price was fantastic!

I love this vacuum! I only used it once so I can’t speak for the longevity of it but i have a 3 story home with lots of plush carpet and hard wood floors. It reaches all crevices well because of the 360 degree swivel design and the attachment pieces. We have a fluffy Goldador and it picks her fur up with ease. If I had complaints it would be that the cord has to be manually rolled up and it can feel a little bulky on the wrist after a use of the vacuum after a while. I do have 3 floors to vacuum though so keep that in mind. All in all well worth the value. I got this on a sale for $110.

I have been using this vacuum for a couple months now, below are the pros and cons. Pros -Sucks up more dirt, dust and hair than my old dirt devil unit did. -It moves around the carpet smoothly and goes into tight spaces easily. -The pet hair attachment it comes with works great on my couch. -You can adjust the suction at the top of the unit to your liking. -Unit isn't loud, it's not quiet but tolerable and doesn't require hearing protection and won't wake the neighbors. Cons. -The long reach attachment piece that comes with it is short and doesn't enable you to get into hard-to-reach spots all that easily. -Said attachment leaves behind black marks on surfaces like walls as the top layer rubs off easily. -The head isn't very wide, so it takes longer to vacuum my house. Overall, I think it was worth the purchase, even if it is a little overpriced. If you can afford it I would recommend.

I feel like I've gone from a used car with 250,000 miles on it to a Lamborghini. OK, maybe that's an exaggeration, but that's how I feel. I have a parakeet, so I'm constantly vacuuming my carpet. I used to go back and forth, back and forth, over the same area, and there would still be seed remnants when I finished. This vacuum cleaner has exceeded all expectations. Just one pass now, and it picks up everything. The head swivels, and you can get nice and low with it to vacuum under tables and chairs. I change the setting and use it on the dining room laminate floor. Same thing, one pass. No more broom and dustpan. It was easy to put together and reasonably priced. I wish I would have bought a shark vacuum years ago. I can't say enough good things about this vacuum cleaner!
