This wax stick is in a metal (aluminium?) (great, not plastic) push-up container with a metal screw-on lid. It's easy to push up & either swipe directly on your hair, or if you want a more controlled application, across your hands and then into your hair. It feels smooth (not gloopy or gritty), and has a soft texture without being oily or lumpy - others I've used have dragged my hair then broken off in little lumps, but not this one. It does hold your hair in place but to me is more to smooth the surface from frizzy fly-away hairs, and provide some shine to my dry hair. It also smells nice too. The only two slight negatives are that you can get a greasy-looking pillow (but that's the same for lots of other hair products too); and when I pushed the stick up to swipe across my hand, the product was still a bit proud of the tube but the lid doesn't properly fit unless the product is flush with the end of it (easily solved by making the lid a bit longer!). Despite that, a great product.

The media could not be loaded. It's not bad product, but it's not great either. The other issues are the delivery system, can't just apply to hair, it gets hair all over the product, then your supposed to apply to hands first to style the hair, whilst I did that, the mechanism keeps pushing down back in, so have to hold the button inside while using other hand to wipe some out. It comes out easy, and it comes off easy, but the product can actually melt, as it's partially oil based, in the hands it melts away, hands feel oily and waxy at the same time.It did fix some frizz, didn't offer much of any hold, but that's probably because my hair is nearly 20 inches long, it's not supposed to really hold that much, it does offer a little hold, I think it's mainly for fixing frizz. The good thing about this is because it's wax/oil based it can be applied to dry hair as well, but I personally think it's best with damp hair. Then let it dry. Had to use quite a bit though, because my frizz reaches as far as the eye can see.I didn't feel any greasy residue, it's actually a good hair product, just don't like how it didn't smell of anything, while this can be good, I actually prefer more of a nice scent, and the delivery system is just poor, I'd prefer it in traditional tubs. If you have shorter hair this will probably hold much better for you. It's just decent for me, as I had to use a lot in my first go just to calm out frizz, but to be absolutely fair I have *A LOT* of frizz.Some final thing to note, if you put too much it will end up greasy, and if you don't put enough, can't fix the frizz, finding the balance is difficult for people with really frizzy hair.

It helps with fly aways but leaves a white residue that only disappears with a lot of combing back.
