Exceptional Performance and Unbeatable Value
I recently purchased the Jetwood 1:16 4X4 Brushless RC Buggy, and I must say, it has far exceeded all my expectations! This little beast has left me thoroughly impressed with its outstanding performance, unbeatable value, and all it hobby grade features that took it to the next level. First and foremost, let's talk about speed. This buggy is an absolute speed demon! With the power of its brushless motor, it effortlessly reaches speeds over 40 mph on 3s batteries. It's an adrenaline rush like no other! Whether I'm racing it on the open road or tearing through off-road tracks, the Jetwood 1:16 delivers an exhilarating experience every time. The standout feature that truly elevates this RC buggy is the inclusion of all-metal oil-filled shocks. These shocks provide a level of suspension and dampening that is simply outstanding. They absorb bumps and jumps with ease, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride even on rough terrain. The difference they make in terms of stability and handling is truly remarkable, adding an extra layer of confidence to every race. The high-quality plastic chassis of the Jetwood RC buggy is still worth mentioning. It's built to last and feels incredibly sturdy. Even during intense jumps and rough landings, the chassis holds up exceptionally well, providing the durability needed for long-term enjoyment. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail put into the construction of this vehicle. Another impressive aspect of this RC buggy is its remarkable ability to drive straight even at full speed. It maintains excellent stability and control, allowing me to maneuver it with precision. Whether I'm navigating tight corners or taking it on straightaways, the buggy stays on track without any unwanted drift or veering. This level of performance is truly exceptional and adds an extra layer of excitement to every race. Considering the quality and performance offered, the price of the buggy is an absolute steal. I had my doubts initially, but I can confidently say that this buggy far exceeded my expectations. It performs on par with more expensive models on the market, yet it comes at a fraction of the cost. The value for money is simply unmatched. To summarize, the Jetwood 1:16 4X4 Brushless RC Buggy is a phenomenal product that offers an incredible performance at an affordable price. Its speed, sturdy plastic chassis, all-metal oil-filled shocks, and ability to drive straight even at full throttle make it an absolute joy to own and race. I highly recommend this buggy to all RC enthusiasts looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality or excitement. You won't be disappointed!

Huge potential with a major flaw.
TLDR: Great car, reverse is tricky. For the price versus the sum of the parts, this represents an amazing value. However, the remote has a lot of latency and reverse requires multiple attempts each time to use it. This is a tough little buggy. I took it to the skate park and ran it for a couple hours. I was not gentle. I eventually broke a strut tower, but that was after close to 100 hard impacts on concrete. The metal front and rear bumpers did their job and have a bunch of shiny areas from impacts. The shocks seem nice. They have a very good amount of dampening for the weight of the car. The car is heavy and has a more premium feel than I expected at its price point. The USB charger is okay. It's not remarkable in any sense and there is no USB wall adapter so you'll have to dig through your junk drawer. The batteries feel light for their size, but seem to deliver plenty of power for such a small car. The remote is the worst part of this package. It feels cheap, like an afterthought. It's operation confirms the cheapness of it. There is significant lag when taking off and reverse is difficult to use. Power cycling the remote sometimes resolves the issue for 10-15 seconds. Steering is proportional and the foam rubber surround is really the only thing that's decent about the remote. There is a third channel available on the receiver and there's a trigger for it on the side. The car is very stable for its small size and it handles very well right out of the box. I've not encountered any broken strut towers or stripped screws as mentioned in other reviews. It corners relatively flat and has very good acceleration even with the 2S batteries. I think the 3S batteries might make it a little unruly and hard to control based on how it works with the 2S. Other reviews mention a heavy rear toe-in on the rear wheels. This is common on small RC cars and helps them go straight. Upon inspection of the rear assembly this alignment is intentional. The tires contact the body on full lock and make it sound like a differential is about to explode.

Resilient RC car with very few limitations
After searching and reading reviews for hours on many different RC cars offered on Amazon. I made the decision to purchase this one and I have zero regrets. It is extremely fast, very easy for my eight year old son to drive and control, very durable thus far and with all of the jumps and loops we’ve driven it through. It still works perfectly. Here it is my list of pros and cons. Pros: Very fast (but not uncontrollable) Battery life is decent (about 15 minutes on 70% power) but it came with two batteries and that’s a huge plus! It came with spare parts, such as extra shocks and front axle. You can control the front trim a.k.a. alignment with the remote, as well as varying the intensity of the throttle. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones. Cons: The wheelie bar that came with it as an additional accessory really helps control the car when taking off very fast, but it is also the least resilient part of the car, and has already broken at the bottom screw, but was also able to be repaired with some super glue. That’s not exactly ideal, and is why it made my cons list. That is honestly the end of my cons list. Whether you are buying it for a younger kid or yourself (if you’re an adult like I am) I highly recommend it.

Great bang for the buck fun!
Only "1" minor criticism. Just.. One. The lower sides of the body. One side likes to lift over the lip it is supposed to stay seated in. Once it pops over it rubs on the tire. Not a terrible thing. Just need to secure it with a small piece of good tape you can remove when you have to remove the body for turning power on/off, or swapping the battery. Overall. Super impressive piece of kit for the money. Fast. Turns well, and remote... as cheap as it feels compared to expensive kits... it is plenty good. Great reception sensitivity. Two speeds selectable on the fly on the controller. This is built rugged. I've built expensive RC's and just wanted this to play with these days. The product is as advertised. Bravo! Seriously. No BS. Great job.

Post sales care and attention.
After almost one year of purchasing this car, it stopped working. I contacted the support team expecting the regular answer, but instead, they were cordial, asked for a video to help identify the issue, sent me a part that was malfunctioning for free and the car is now racing on street like a brand new one. Thank you Zhen for your customer care, and for the company to focus is post sales experience. I am ready for more toys from you!! PS: the malfunction was a bad luck, the quality of this car is superb.

Durable, Fun, and Fast!
This little rc car is so much fun and enjoyable to play with. Also, with the S3 batteries it’s very squirrelly and fun in the grass! Super fun and makes a great gift for any adult or supervised kids. This is from an adult man that bought it to play with when my wife is relaxing somewhere and I’m dragged along, like under a tree or somewhere nice in a park or area of nature. I have wicked adhd and a caffeine problem and can't hold still. This combo has ruined here nice moment a few times, which also brings me great joy to hear her squeal in anger but the juice is worth the squeeze and I replay it in my head while getting scolded. Never mean just messing with her! Great little car have a brand new one just in case this one disappears.

Cheap plastic
Bought this as a holiday present. Son likes it very much, it’s quick and turns tight. Although must say that the cheap plastic arms shock mounts front and rear won’t handle the landing from small jumps nor the from the often flips it will make from normal take off n turns. The front shoock mount broke within the 1st 30 mins of play, 2nd day the rear broke. Good starter hobby car. Be ready to spend more money on upgrades from battery to shock’s, suspension and replacements parts.

Fast and well built
For the price I don’t think you can get a more solidly built RC car. Are there trade offs to give you something this fast at this price? Sure. Mainly the controller - but it’s perfectly usable. If you want something that is a blast to drive, will hit 40+ mph, and won’t require a $300+ investment- this is the way to go. My son has one so I bought a second just so we could race them. Two is still less money than we’d spend on 90% of the higher end RC cars from the big brands Iike Traxxas (and I know they make great stuff). This lets someone get into the world of higher performing RC cars and trucks at a reasonable starting point. One bit of advice - this may be too fast for younger inexperienced RC users. You can set the throttle at a 70% max speed but if you are going to have young kids with no experience use this be sure it’s in a very open space without obstacles they might hit at high speed.
