Interpet, White and Blue LED Light for Aquariums & FIsh Tanks, Effcient Lighting, Easy to Install, 20cm

This is cool as an add-on to an existing tank lid and can apparently be fully submerged if you wanted to place it in the tank itself. The switch allows you to have standar white LED on, or the other option is blacklight to bring out an UV aquarium decor you are using. I am still waiting for my decor to be delivered and the tank is still cycling so haven't used it in situ yet, but I have stuck it to the tank lid alongside the lights included with my set up. Easy enough to stick on (I used 3M sticky pads) or you can screw it on if you prefer.

This light work fantastically, no complaints, it illuminates my sons tank perfectly! And with the dual functionality of having both blue and white or just blue makes perfect for a kids fish tank!

Quite a compact little light but it seems more bulky than it really needs to be. The suction cups work okay, but it's not designed to be able to be attached to outside of the tank, which would actually look really good - if you attached it to the end of the tank, due to total internal reflection you can't actually see the LEDs directly, only the light that is cast inside. So you have to attach it inside. But then, because there's no shade, the LEDs themselves are directly visible and they're quite blinding and distracting. If you have a full hood I suppose this isn't an issue. I'm designing and 3D printing a hood which I will share if it works well. Because theres no diffuser covering the LED elements, you get a lovely pattern cast from diffraction by the surface ripples, it looks really nice. The bright setting uses a mix of white and blue LEDs, which looks nice but it is still a moon light. This will no grow any plants and it's not suitable for daytime viewing. It's a lovely way of seeing your tank when the main lights are off. The dim setting uses the blue LEDs only, which is much dimmer but also looks great. I suggest using it with a Bluetooth socket so you can control timings etc, although there would still be no way of remotely changing between the light modes (white+blue Vs only blue).

I purchased a 28l tank off Marketplace without a working light for a fiver and needed a small inexpensive light. This Interpet LED light fitted the bill perfectly at under a tenner. The off/ blue/white rocker switch allows it to be used with a standard timer and the light came with suckers, 3M pads or tiny screws giving fixing options. I've used the suckers which are very secure. It is also only 2W so energy efficient.

Great wee light I have a small tank this lights it up beautifully the white and blue light are both lovely and it has stayed stuck to the top cover of the tank since I installed it

Hoping that this will be okay! If you're not a DIYer I would not recommend this product to you. It required either gluing or screwing, however, screwing wasn't an option as the aquarium we got came with a think plastic lid, so we had to glue the light on. I glued it last night using Gorilla glue as I know it is water tight once dried, however, I have attempted to chip off the edges of the excess glue this morning and the whole thing came unstuck. Just re-glued hoping this time it works. I guess that's just human error and the glue really, so nothing much to do with the light. The light itself is quite bright and perfect for kids aquarium with 2 settings. Lets just hope the glue works... It would be better if interpet supplied some sort of double sided waterproof adhesive strips or something, as its something extra to buy otherwise. Wish me luck!

Love these lights. I have a 22l fish tank and was looking for blue lights as well as white. I had originally used the stickers provided to stick the lights onto the lid. It has since fallen into the water so will try something else as I prefer the lights on the lid though there are suction cups to put it in the water

So, I wanted a ligt for my sons fish tank but was unsure how to attach as my tank is very basic. This seemed very good although on opening he only attachment that would work was the sticky pads which lasted about a week before the light dropped into the tank. Not handy having to hunt down replacement sticky so I sellotaped it on. The advert made it seem that it was aimed at kids due to the UV or pens you can buy seperate but it was just a standard light, might fault but i did feel it was slightly false advertisement. The light itself though it great and seems just bright enough for my small tank and the cost is pretty good so thumbs up on that.
