"Clay" is completely useless
I bought this product as I had done a similar casting for my first son when he turned one, but unfortunately could not source the same product 4 years later. The frame is lovely and exactly what I wanted, however, the "clay" is completely useless. It's not clay at all, rather a rubbery plastic substance. Initially I was excited about this, as the clay from other products tend to be rather hard and you have to press the baby's hand quite a lot to get a good impression. So with this soft rubber "clay" I didn't have to press hard at all to get an impression. HOWEVER, the rubbery substance doesn't keep the impression. One day later and the impression has all but disappeared in the "drying process". I am gutted as now I have nothing to put in the lovely frame. So if you're looking for a nice frame, just buy a frame. If you're looking to make a casting memory, BUY A DIFFERENT PRODUCT!

Brilliant casting kit - highly recommended
Bought two for Father's Day, for both grandpas. These kits can be expensive so it was wonderful to find that this - a cheaper option to most of those I found - was very high quality and easy to use. I loved that the board on the right hand side is pink on one side and blue on the other - it's a really strong, high quality backing board. We were worried about hurting our month-old baby as we pressed her foot in but it was fine - my sister in law held her while I pressed her foot in, heel to toe. We actually got three prints out of each pack in the end due to judicious trimming. I was worried about hurting her hand so we didn't try that until the end - again, it was fine! The plastic is lovely and soft and stays rubbery after drying, so it can be trimmed even after it's dried. We lost the double sided tape but in the end it was nothing to worry about as the glass is holding the rubbery prints nice and snugly against the backing board.

I bought two and both had greater gaps than I could really be happy with.
An absolute hit for a Christmas present for both Grandmothers to our newborn. The reversible backing card (pink or blue) for the casting is a lovely touch. Sadly the quality of the corner joins is not quite coincident with the price point; there are gaps on the corner that are larger than is reasonable for this price point. I bought two and both had greater gaps than I could really be happy with.

Not great but frame is nice
The clay is more of a putty and didn't quite look as good as others I'd seen. And they only sent 1 tiny bit of double sided tape so it fell of the backing. I ended up buying an ink free handprint kit and placing that in the frame instead

Clay rubbish
The frame is lovely and the kit is easy to use but unfortunately the imprints into the clay disappear as the clay dries. I had two kits and both were the same so not just a one off problem.

Don't buy
Didn't work at all. Firstly it was very difficult to create an impression of baby's hand and foot on it. And when we did it next day the impression had gone a bit down. Very poor quality clay or whatever material they've used.

Perfect gift for neo-parents
I love this product; it is very easy to use the material inside, and didn’t give any problem (such as reaction or rash) to my baby hand and foot. Still showing amazingly in my living room.

Good value kit
This is a lovely little kit, easy to use and very reasonabley priced. We made little prints of our 6 week old's feet. The clay when manioulated and warmed is very soft. Peeling the clay off of new born feet did ruin our inital efforts. We tried again. The results were pretty good, Some of definition is lost behind glass. We made as grandparent gifts. They seem delighted.
