I was worried the mat might be a little scratchy, but it's completely comfortable. Soap flows through it really well, so it probably won't need to be washed as often. We got the smaller size, and it covers just a little over half the tub. That works fine for us and was my expectation. It stays in place really well, though I don't know about the longevity of the nonslip underside. We unrolled it and put it in the tub, and it worked without any effort to keep it unrolled. Well we haven't had it very long, I am very pleased with it overall.

I am not sure if the ones that were questioning the suction properties of this product were delivered a different mat or were showering on an ice rink. This holds true to my tub and gives me confidence entering and leaving the shower. It does retain a lot of water but I use my pants hanger to hang it from the shower head to dry. The price is right and I prefer this over my old plastic mat. No tell tale odor to speak of but, since I am hirsute, I wonder how much hair it is holding onto, invisible in my black mat.

This shower mat is Fantastic!!! I have issues with balance and possible slipping in the shower so I needed something that I felt comfortable with, as well as confident to stand on in the shower. This shower mat with the loufa surface is really great. The surface is a rough enough consistency to be non-slip, yet, soft enough to be comfortable under my feet. The material that the under side is made of grips the floor of the shower, but pulls right up after the shower without leaving any damage to the shower floor. It is very easy to use, it lays down flat and pulls up easily. I highly recommend!

Okay here's a totally honest review of this product. I really love it and it feels great to stand on while showering and it doesn't slip. It also dries fast. The problem is that it will eventually start to get moldy and there is nothing and I mean nothing you're going to be able to do to stop it or get rid of it. Mine lasted about 4 months using it once a day until I started to see the mold and there is no cleaner on earth whether it is a straight up mold and mildew killer, white vinegar or even hydrogen peroxide that will kill the mold. Washing it in the washing machine is worthless so if you buy this you should know that depending on how often it's used you'll have to buy more of them. I like them so much that I don't mind buying 2 to 3 of these per year but like I said earlier, I use it once a day.

This bath mat works great for secure footing on shower/bath surface. It measures 24x16" and comes in multiple colors. Most important to me is the fact there are no suction cups. They can leave some nasty marks on the surface under any circumstances. But in my case, I recently resurfaced the shower walls and bottom surface with a 2-part epoxy. A lot of work but it's holding up very well. But I was warned not to use a mat with suction cups, to avoid the risk of damaging the finish when pulling up the mat. So no problem like that with this new mat. It's a good value and is safe and durable.

Love this rug in our walk in shower. It stays in place and helps us not to slip. It is soft under foot and feels good to stand on. The neutral color works well and the size was perfect. Covers a large portion of our large shower floor. It has held up for well over a month now and launders easily. water goes through it easily and so far no mold has been spotted.

This is my second loofah shower mat. Both are great but this one is the exact width of my shower floor -- very nice. I hang to dry every day just to let it completely drain -- not sure if necessary, but that's what I do. My shower floor is as slick as a sheet of glass so I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T DO WITHOUT THIS MAT. It makes me feel safe and I've recommended it to others as well and they enjoy the feeling of increased safety as well.
