will it attached to my pc's monitor??

I just pulled this out of my junk box. and have successfully and easily found that it works with my W-7pro 64b pc and works well with the LWS 2.51 software. It does hold on LOOSELY to the top of my monitor. The vertical rotation of the head is very limited (up and down). it does NOT have a tripod mount. However, nothing will prevent you from either padding the grip to better fit a thin monitor or from attaching it with an adjustable device. Since I'm typing, I'll say here that it is a 1.2MP camera; everything is surprisingly in focus, however the slightest movement produces significant ghosting around my image until the motion stops and it then can stabilize. I use a simple background jpeg. This camera is a definite stepdown in all respects to my current C615, however it does similarly work, but with less resolution and speed, and without digital zooming (one generous image size only).

Does this webcam work with Windows 10

If it doesn't work, first check the Windows Settings Privacy Camera and Microphone to make sure they are not restricted. If still problems, install the driver utility from Logitech for this camera. Then try again. If still problems Open the device manager and find the two instances of the camera under Imaging devices and Sound Video Game Controllers and rollback all the drivers. This should pop the camera into it's own section in the device manager called Camera. If Rollback driver was greyed out, Open the registry editor and add a DWORD32 key called EnableFrameServerMode under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform then restart and rollback the driver.

Can I tilt and swivel the head? Does it take digital still photos?

It does not swivel, but it does tilt up and down. I believe you can take still photos with the packaged software.

How well does it work with Windows 8.1? Did you need to find different drivers for 8.1?

No additional drivers needed. It works great with Windows 8.1.

Must seek out and install software

I was on the verge of sending this back as defective as it seemed dead as a do-do but watching an independent review video I discovered it is not "Plug and Play" as implied by the installation instructions and won't work until you download and install necessary software - search "download logitech c270 software". Once installed, the camera and microphone seem to work well but the clip provided is totally unsuitable for my desktop screen and wobbles around under the weight of the cable. I am sure I will be able to wedge it with something or tape it in position when in use but overall it doesn't meet the standards expected from a brand name like Logitech.

Logitech HD webcam.

My last webcam for my PC wasn't too great very grainy and very poor vision. This webcam HD fantastic very clear tracks your face. Very sturdy WebCam and looks cool with your monitor, I recommend this to everybody.

It's a good camera for skyping with but not good to record ...

It's a good camera for skyping with but not good to record with. The 720p widescreen is correct for the video camera functions however it doesn't look great when you watch the recording back and even less so when uploaded to youtube. Having a light on the camera is great and it works well to remind you if it's on and it's easy enough to sit on your monitor though it may not work great on a thin screened laptop. Overall it's not great if you want it for anything other than skyping, if you want to record footage for youtube,etc I would just recommend getting an actual camera to mount to a tripod instead.
