If you are looking for a stand on which to hold your two pound tablet, this item should fit the bill. The holder portion of the stand rotates left or right in steps, or clicks; in other words it won't swing in either direction which would become irritating. And although the holder can be adjusted up and down, the weight of your tablet will not cause the holder to collapse, the hinges are quite tight. Come think of it, the holder stand was probably meant to hold smart phones, based on its dimensions; however, it works with tablets just as well.

I opened a large box which to me with the small amount of paper packaging was silly but not my company. The stand is well made and it works great on phone and an A9 Samsung pad with no problem. It is nice in looks and is versatile.

This stand supports iPad and iPhone like devices fine. It requires no assembly and tilts and swivels perfectly. For the price this is a very good purchase.
