I definitely recommend this book! It’s a great way to expose kids that are not familiar with Filipino culture to new foods. We are planning to read the book and then find a local restaurant to try the foods. The illustrations are so cute...very bright and colorful. The explanations are informative for both children and adults. Great addition to a child’s book collection.

The book shows different Filipino delicacies that you can be familiar with. The author illustrations was amazing. It is going to give you the urge to try the food. Fun way to introduce the book to your children to learn the Filipino culture. The artist did a wonderful job in putting up the colors, illustrations, and the rhymes/poems perfectly to describe the art works. Highly recommended

I don’t have a child yet but I saw this book on tiktok and i just had to get it. I think this book means so much for the Filipino community and more specifically the FilAm community! I cried upon opening the book and flipping through its pages with my fiancé. Especially growing up when some of my lunches from home would be called gross or smelly by naive careless classmates. Hearing that as a kid I felt so ashamed but having this book I feel better knowing I can equip my child with the confidence to be proud of their food and culture. Not to mention the illustrations are absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this to any people teaching their kids about Filipino foods and culture! Such a great find!

I bought this as a gift for a friends baby shower. It was everything I was hoping it would be and more. The graphics were incredibly cute and it had lots of common Filipino foods for baby to learn. It really is a cute book and a special item to add for a gift.
