Every year, we have a colony of bats (30 to 40 that i counted last year) that love to roost above our front door. I don't mind them, but they make a terrible mess with their guano all over the porch. After a few years of dealing with the mess and just watching them, I decided to try to humanely chase them away. This is the unit I bought. I placed it on a planter at the front door and pointed the flashing light up and the speakers up. The first day that I noticed guano on the porch, it got turned on. This thing has made it through weeks of sun and rain. I wasn't sure how it would handle all of that, but it has. My wife jokes around that it looks like Halloween with the flashing strobe, but if it is helping I don't care because it only comes on after dark.After two days of use, we saw a sudden decrease of guano.After two weeks, I have not needed to sweep the porch, so they may all be gone.I guess this is like having a neighbor who plays heavy metal 24/7 and the best thing to do is just move away.For our type of bats, this thing seems to have done the trick. I'll try to figure out a permanent place for it or just use it seasonally.That's mostly skink poop on the porch in the photo. Now we need to figure out how to keep them away! Lol

Updating my "glowing" review of this pest repellent device. The creatures living in our walls and ceiling have returned. It's almost like they've become immune to the sound and strobe light. They continue to scurry and chatter even after we've tried the device both inside and under the camper for weeks. I would NOT purchase this device again!We are living in our camper full-time, and one morning I heard what sounded like a bird fluttering inside one wall. In the days to follow, it became clear it was not a bird because I could hear at least two creatures chasing each other in the ceiling. We're in a remote, heavily wooded area, so this could be mice, chipmunks, squirrels, bats...! We didn't want to put out poison, and have stinky dead things in our walls. In desperation, I searched for anything that might work. The day the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller arrived, my husband turned it on the Ultras mode and placed it under the camper, but the next morning, we still had things scampering, chewing, and chattering. That evening my husband moved it inside the camper and set it to the Duo mode. Please note: My husband's hearing aids picked up the sound in this mode, and our cat was pretty uncomfortable with the strobe light. The good news? We woke up the next morning to no creatures in our walls and ceiling! We've since moved it to Trans mode, and our cat has settled down. We're very pleased with this product so far, and we're going to buy one for our pole barn as well.

I read the reviews before I purchased this mouse repellant. It actually works!! I have not had a mouse in my cabin for three weeks now. I plan on purchasing more. I have purchased a lot of sticky mouse traps. No more!!! I recommend buying this!!

I put this thing to the test I had mice in my attic so I installed this in attic and put dabs of peanut butter on it, I did this 4 times and the peanut butter disappeared every time so needless to say this does absolutely nothing!! Don’t waste your money just use the electric zapper, those work

This works so good..had 14+ squarrel’s around and inside our furnace and ceiling ..trapped 8 myself..critter control took care of the rest..but he got Covid..and wasn’t around for 3 more weeks to button up the holes the squarrel’s got in from……So I saw this device…not one squarrel came close or entered into the house with this device..and now it’s been 2 month’s still no squarrel’s..great product..wish I knew about it before all the invasion started!! Buy this you won’t regret it!!!

When I first purchased it, I couldn't find which setting to use on the device for mice. I read the comments here and saw it was the ULTRA setting. So, I set it on the ULTRA setting and for the first 20 minutes it was silent, but then there was an incredibly annoying chirping sound that appeared for ten minutes, and then it disappeared. But it came back again, and again, and again. It makes using the product impossible in a space where people are around.
