Tea Bag Stainless Steel Squeezer Tongs - 6.5 Inches

I've been using these for about 3 weeks now for my teas they use tea bags. Overall they are great, though I would probably have designed them slightly different, mostly on the length of the squeezing area, as it covers about 3/4 the width of the tea bag. Not much of an issue, I just flip the tea bag and get the other side. However, I do get out all the liquid that can be gotten out of the tea bag using this.***updated*While I still love these, I do have to drop it down another star. While the tips haven't bent, they do not squeeze any of the liquid out of the tea bag anymore. Only about half the squeezing area actually squeezes the water out. Handy. If you drink tea you need them so as not to stick your fingers in your tea. Yes you can squeeze the bag with your spoon and lift out your bag, but trust me, this is easier and way more sanitary! I made myself and my Mother In Law purse tea caddies with these in them for when we are out to lunch, etc. They are small enough to do that with. You could even use a small cosmetic bag and add a few tea bags to that to take with you. They are only five inches long. I made fabric sleeves for the ends to keep them together and compact, but you can also use a small paper clippy thing...oh you know what I mean! The little things with the arms. :D

Tongs adequately squeeze the tea bag so you don't have to carry a dripping bag to the trash or compost pail (as I do). Keeps your fingers from touching a boiling hot tea bag. The only thing I'd change is for the handles to attach to the squeezing part more in the center (rather than the bottom) and it would give a more complete squeeze. Where they are now placed tends to make the top open part of the squeezer bend outward so it separates just a bit and you cannot apply as much pressure on this part, but not really a big deall.

I'm happy with this tea bag squeezer. The only thing I wasn't prepared for is that it is smaller than it looks. It does the job but it takes several squeezes just because the "squeezer" part is just not big. This is a very minor issue and I am otherwise just tickled to have it. I never knew I needed it but now I wouldn't be without it.

It works perfectly for squeezing hot teabags. No more burnt fingers, no more trying to use two teaspoons squeezed together or wrapping the string about the teabag to squeeze out the last bit of moisture.I thought I actually wanted a curved squeezer, but the design of this one (flat) works really well. Three squeezes starting from the top of the teabag, et voila, a teabag that doesn't drip on the way to the composter!The price is right, delivery was prompt. I'm thinking about buying several more as gifts. They'd be great to add to a gift basket of teas.

I wish I would have bought one sooner. It is much better than using my fingers and it is well designed for what it does. The holes in the tips of the tongs allow tea to come out while you are squeezing, which is an additional bonus that I didn't think about when I was buying it. But once I used it I realized how useful that feature is.

This is a real handy tool for Tea drinkers. For the price I was quite surprised on the excellent quality (stainless steel). It does a great job squeezing the tea bags, and I also use it to squeeze Lemon Slices that I put in my tea, and then I use it to stir the lemon juice so it's well blended. Great little tool for us tea drinkers!

I make iced tea "concentrate" by steeping 4 teabags at once in a 12 ounce water, then dump all plus ice and water into my huge water jug. These tongs are small but well made and have no trouble squeezing two of the teabags at a time.
