Posh Eggs: Over 70 Recipes for wonderful eggy things

This is a welcome addition to my collection of cookery books, with 75 recipes centred around the humble egg. There are basic egg recipes, breakfasts large and small featuring eggs, more substantial dishes such as my favourite Shakshuka, and some very enticing salads - the Cobb Salad a particular favourite here. Nothing particularly exotic, though the use of eggs in soups is interesting for the textures and flavours they bring to the simplest of dishes. The teensiest criticism is that overwhelmingly the recipes for for hens' eggs, with a few duck and quail recipes thrown in. But as a handy book to spruce up breakfasts, brunches and the like, it's highly recommended.

bought as a gift, hoping to get egg loving Grandson to do more cooking - we'll see

Bought this book as a present for my husband's birthday (thought he could do with some inspiration after years of obsession with poached eggs and eggs Benedict). So glad I did, he loves it. Even though we'd just come back from his birthday meal he was salivating at all the gorgeous pics. Loads of lovely looking stuff to try, and doesn't look too tricky either... Hurrah, success for the man who has everything!

This is a great sized cook book, well made and filled with delicious recipes which don't seem too complicated to make. Bought for a friend and I know she will love and get plenty use from it.

Don't be put off by the title, as, although some of the recipes are indeed "posh", a lot of the recipes are useful for everyday cooking. Really good book.

Doesn't exactly give anything new by way of egg recipes. Bit disappointing really

Received in terrible condition, I have given away many second hand books and all look as if new, this book was paid for and was disgusting, let alone have out whilst cooking 🤮. angry with myself as missed the timeline to return!

I raise chickens. I love preparing and eating eggs. 'Posh Eggs' is a welcome addition to my library and to my diet.

Love this book! I got it as a gift for a friend, but while flipping thru it, I decided I must buy my own! Beautiful color photographs of every dish and easy to understand recipes. Recipe categories include breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, desserts & drinks. If you love eggs, you simply must add this to your repertoire. It's a smaller book measuring 6" x 8" which surprised me a bit, but sometimes great things come in smaller packages. You won't go wrong with this book.
