Will this work for 4” square posts

It should do, as long as it is straight 4" post. You will need to have point on the bottom.

is this suitable for 60mm diameter round wooden fencing posts

It will certainly do the job on 60mm posts, no problem. I used it on 100mm half rounded posts with excellent results. It is quite heavy so found it easier to use with two people as we had a lot of posts to install.

What size fence posts can this be used for?

The diameter of this is 17cm (6.5") so I would recommend this is used for a maximum of 6".

What material is this made from?

welded steel. it's very heavy. great bit of kit. You can buy even heavier ones which are cast not welded but this is fine for normal fence posts.
