Can these night vision goggles be used during the day?

Sure.I have used this to take photos in day time,the images are amazing and clear.Besides this night vision goggle has incredible long viewing distance with zoom.Great product.

Is the infared visible at night where you can be spotted?

The only light is the screen you watch. Which is big like a cell phone. Imagine standing in the dark with your cellphone on. Animals won't notice but humans might. Please use as intended.

can the 32gb be expanded?

Think I saw a max size of 128gb stated in the manual. Haven't tried it tbh.
