Worked great and didn't slip like a short pair I had previously purchased. The release lever is tough to get to in a confined, you have to pump the extend lever to unload the pressure to be able to unlock the jack! Lock on opposite side away from pump lever. I stuck it in a tight space and couldn't get my hand around it to the release lever and pump it with my other at the same time!

I do a lot of my DIY work alone and these poles have been a godsend. Simple to use, straightforward, sturdy. I find myself reaching for them all the time when I have to lift or hold something overhead. I bought them for one project but now use them weekly. Money well spent!

I bought these to install shower wall panels. Couldn’t have done it without these! They work as designed. Bag is a nice touch, though a bit cheaply made. The poles, though, are solid. Extend and hold well even fully extended— at least for my purposes. The one annoying downside I experienced is releasing the tension. The release “button” or level is very difficult to press. Almost impossible actually. I found I mostly had success sliding the pole to the right or left a bit so as to naturally increase the angle and release the tension. That won’t work for all applications so that is a weak point of this tool. But it worked for my purposes. Glad I had 4 as well. Worth the money even with the poor release function!

Great tool, very helpful if you are working solo. I installed an under cabinet range hood weighing 28 lbs and it would be impossible without the jacks.The release is a metal flap and can be stubborn but once you use it a few times, you get used to it.

I used this to brace shower panels to backerboard. Worked fantastic. The description says that it would have good use to hold up cabinets for installation. I have not tested the weight limits on these but they seem to be strong enough for such use. I bought the four pack and they were all put to use.

the poles are good but the bag came with the zipper with the pull on the inside which mad the bag useless. i like the poles just what i needed, but the bag is why i give it 3 stars instead of five.

Great tool to use when mounting anything heavy on the walls. My husband used them to install a new Range Hood and he loved them. His only complaint was that they could not be lowered in increments. His suggestion "order 4, not two and then see that 2 more would make it a lot easier.

These are a great value. Hold weight really well and would buy again.
