Convenient and Sturdy Puzzle Board
I didn't know these things existed for puzzles. I am so glad they are. It is so nice not to have to hunch over a puzzle and get neck and back aches. I really enjoy this puzzle board and use it while I am watching a movie and putting a puzzle together. It's also nice to be able to put it away when I am not working on my latest puzzle. Very nice quality and appreciate the board is covered in felt so the pieces do not slide down. It's also very stable and does not wobble nor does it feel like the board will flop down. Great puzzle board overall for folks who do not have room for a puzzle table.

Recreational puzzle board pros and cons
I’ve looked at them all before settling on this. We puzzle weekly on our dining table so it’s left out 27/7 with occasional need to pack up for dinner guests. I wanted a board that looked comfortable, not like a suitcase. I wanted it to be light and solid. I wanted add glides so I can slide it out of the way. The glides would be back from the front edge so the added height would overlap the flexible cutting boards we use to asssemble large areas.Pros: It looks nice overall. The petite base is light and blends in with our mid century decor. The bottom has enough surface area to attach glides. The angle is adequate to relieve neck strain though it would be great if it went higher. The felt holds pieces adequately. We use large sorting trays and flexible cutting mats to sort so didn’t need inadequately small and heavy sorting drawers that come with most boards. Due to its small footprint it can be stored easily in a mesh portfolio bag. I bought this board for the base and will use the felt board when transporting out of the house.Cons: The brown finish on the base rubs off. The wood assembly is a bit slap dash looking. To me, the felt board is not tactally pleasing, hard to clean off puzzle dust, may damage easily. There’s no bottom edge so pieces will slide past the board. The small base doesn’t support the outer edges of the board so it bounces when working on it. Does not come with a cover to protect the pieces from furry kids.Adjustments: It could use a top and bottom removable edge to make it sturdier. I added one to the bottom to hold the edge and keep the edge straight A stiff backer board made it more stable. I use a large silicone mat to protect the puzzle when not in use.Our method is to assemble smaller parts of the puzzle before adding them to the larger puzzle. Our ideal board would be light, stiff, fit an 1000 piece puzzle perfectly, and have a textured surface that didn’t snag. I tried to find a standard cork board but the sizes weren't right. I am building a custom board using a 22x30 narrow wood frame and adhesive cork roll. I’ll add swivel frame buttons so the back can be easily removed to flip the cork inside to protect it when not in use. I’ll use a silicon mat to cover the puzzle in process. Overall it’s a 3-1/2 because of the base. If they sold that separate that would get a 5.

The stand is half as wide as the puzzle board.
I'm guessing that the whole design of this puzzle board and adjustable stand had to do with the shipping box or the shipping itself. It's a really good idea, but doesn't work very well. The puzzle board, itself, folds in half (to fit the box?) so you don't really have a sturdy board for 500 or larger pieced puzzles. Then the stand is only half as wide as the puzzle board so you have to constantly move the puzzle board back and forth to get the support needed to lay the pieces.I would suggest a solid board with a lip around it and to make the adjustable stand wide enough to support the whole board. THAT would be fabulous! This is "as pictured" in the display ad so I was expecting it, just expecting it to work better. As I said, it's a really good idea, just not a good execution. I hope these suggestions will help the makers design a more useful puzzle help. I'm sure you can find a bigger box to use for shipping.

It was a gift and the recipient liked it very much. They were able to adjust the board to fit the size of the puzzle and height easily.

quality
nothing like the photo. Stand is cheaply made and will not hold a550 piece puzzle or a 750 and never a 1000 piece. Just warning you puzzle people not to buy this. Can't return I am on oxygen and don't do out so I will have to figure something out.

Great buy
I was skeptical about this product considering most of the other ones available are highly priced compared to this. But it works great! It’s a simple wooden frame, that’s easy to adjust. None of the pieces slide off when it’s angled up. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something simple and on the smaller side.

Pretty nice for the price
I really like this easel. I do wish it had one more height level but I fixed that myself.I haven't used the actually puzzle board, I place a felt puzzle board that is quite a bit bigger on top of it. The lip on the easel holds it easily. I am so glad I bought it. It makes puzzling much easier with some height and lack of glare.

The size works
This is a very nice puzzle table. The pad is extendable so different size puzzle fit on it and the fact you can adjust the height is a nice feature.
