Beautiful cover, thick pages, no odd smell
I love this journal. It's absolutely beautiful, and the paper is thick and high quality. Mine didn't come with any smell. I've been using it to write down my prayers for a friend, which I plan to give him when he gets baptized in a few months. I like that the paper looks vintage but also has lines on it because without lines I tend to write with a major slant. There is also a little line for the date at in the top corner. It's absolutely perfect.

She's got the look...
The wife loved her gift! She hasn't kept a journal in some time, but decided she needed to start keeping one again after she got accepted to be a background extra on "The Chosen". The look and feel of this journal goes perfectly with the biblical times look she was attempting to achieve.

Book was absolutely beautiful and feels good in hand! But instead of it smelling like fresh leather… it smelt like a barn? Like a mix of animal feed and manure…

Feels like leather
