These DW-291 watches are the real deal. You can even take them SCUBA diving (I have). My chief complaint about these watches is the strap. They are not flexible and they migrate to the far side of your wrist due to their shape. I buy adapters specifically for this model of Casio and change the strap out to velcro with reflective elements on it. Far better. These straps also break easily, and Casio doesn't really sell replacements, and they're an odd size and fit. The adapters work well though and allow standard spring bar watch straps to mate up with the watch(es). Overall though, this watch is a solid 5-stars for the price.

When I saw this bulky Casio on youtube I wasn't sure I should get it because most reviews said it's pretty big and might look awkward of a small wrist. But then I saw the price and decided, when the hell, let's get it. If it'll be to big, I'll sell it or give it away. When it finally arrived and I opened the box and put it on, suddenly, it didn't look that big (I have a 6 inch wrist). Most reviews said the strap is super long but it's not that bad. Maybe both this issues don't bother me to much because I never wear my watches to tight. It is not a G-Shock but the front bezel with the 4 screws gives it a rugged look. The build quality is a regular Casio build with everything in place and no rattles or loose ends. The screen is super legible with big clear digits and double orange LED for illumination. As with most simple Casio's, there's no need for a manual here and anyone who had a chance to set a Casio in the past can set this one with his eye closed. My kind of Casio.

All I can say is that I've never been able to beat the value of a Casio watch. I've had a lot of G shocks in the past in fact I own too. I just don't know where I placed them so I decided to pick this one up. It's been a great watch. I've been wearing it now for 4 months and it's not missing a beat. In fact I like that because the screen is less clustered than a lot of G shocks from Casio. This one is easily readable and does all I need which is date and time I'm not really worried about the very small analog style forming upper right hand corner that's barely readable but again it doesn't detract from the ability of the rest of the watch to give me the day at a time and yeah, I would purchase it again great price point and I'm very satisfied with it.

Nice watch - yes it is big and chunky. With large sized numbers. However the analogue type hands in the round circle ( top right ) is impossible to see / make out. Nice bright light on this too. However for its size - it doesn't offer anything greater - than 48 cities time zones - a 10 year battery - Stopwatch / Countdown - 5 alarms - date etc. It seems well built - so should put up a good fight - if worn daily. 200 M water resist too. If you want a G shock lookalike - for more than half the price - of a g shock - this watch is for you...

I've been using my smart phone as my time piece for several years now and it works but it's not always the most convenient solution. Lately I'd been thinking of getting a "smart watch" but for most of what they do my phone already does and does it better with a bigger screen that I can actually interact with, without straing my eyes or stressing about, plus all the "smart watch" devices have to be constantly charged and the vast majority can't handle moisture or typical impacts that one endures over the course of a typical day. Not saying that there aren't some nice features with some of them but my take on the whole smart watch thing was pretty blah. Anyway i came accross this watch on Amazon and really it just appealed to my sensibilities, a simple, durable time keeping device for the day to day the I don't have to worry about because it's just going to keep doing it's thing pretty much no matter what. Forget to take it off before doing the dishes or jumping in the shower, all good. Smack it on the door of the elevator as I'm getting on, no worries. Forget to throw it on the charger, wait I don't need to! Ha! For the day to day it's really pretty damn hard to beat!

I feel so bad that I had to return this watch because the strap was really long. I really liked the color combination of the strap and the watch, and I think it is one of the best combinations in Casio’s catalogue. In terms of quality, I think you cannot go wrong with this model. It has all the basic functionality that you expect from a typical Casio digital watch. Also, it is an HD model, which means it can endure harsh environments with 200 m water resistance. I wish they released the model with the same color combination, but with a shorter strap.

Very nice watch for the price, there was a learning curve to get it set properly, the manual is very detailed and will be needed at first. Its a chunky looking watch but is not overly heavy. Very comfortable strap but the harware is plastic, so not sure of durability. For the few that have issues with time zone button getting pushed. Your wearing it to tight and below your wrist bone. Loosen it up one notch and let it float, problem solved. The watch is light weight and easy to wear. Display is easy to read, and full coverage orange back light iluminates well.

Love it tho rather big & thick if you have a 6 in wrist. Me 7 1/4 along with good options ! Easy to program had to uTube 3 time to program easy after that 👍🏻‼️ Alarm sound is really LOW can't hear it !!! I'm a budget collector/48 , had it on for 4 days now. It's going to be my BEATER WATCH reather then my 6 G- Shocks ! $32 ‼️

Lovely watch and looks great. Good quality material and very comfortable to wear . Looks allot more expensive than it is for an affordable watch. . Get one while you can as this watch will soon become a desirable collectors piece and the value will increase.
