It took a day to assemble, but it's great quality! It's very sturdy, lightweight, and easy to put together. A much better price for the size than qt other stores.

For the longest time I was using two desks in my room. One for crafts and the other for work. I saw this desk and feel in love. I measured a million times just to make sure it would fit. It’s perfect. The shelves end right beside my bed so they act like a nightstand for me and the raised part of the desk is perfect to put my tv on. It took about two hours to put together but the instructions were very clear and simple to use. It looks amazing and is very sturdy. The material is very easy to clean. The only thing that through me off was that the wood tops have more holes for screws than needed. This made me second guess myself as I was installing it. I just assume the tops can be used for other products they make so it’s easier to make one top that can fit multiple desks. I highly recommend.

I bought this for a birthday present to myself. The package is pretty heavy to lift by yourself, specially if you are 5'4 female with wrist and ankle problems, but I 'walked' the package perfectly inside and through the door!I built it with very little help in about 2 hours, 3 if you add in the time I took to get my little helpers (my cats) to stop playing with the Styrofoam and plastic that is used to package all the pieces.The directions where as any other directions! I am just so happy that it had two different ways to build. But beware! Do read the instructions! There are extra holes in some pieces to make it to where it can go left or right, and if you mess up you will have to switch the pieces around to make it into the correct orientation.It comes with two hex tools and one little wrench for tools. Which having two of the hex tools was a big help because I kept one in my pocket just in case if one of my cats swatted it away or that I dropped it. I did the majority of it by myself, but my S/O helped me hold the shelving up so I could screw everything in!Then the move happened. We took the shelf off to move the desk part and the shelving separately. Just be careful with the desk because it might... it will fall over without the shelf. But everything moved so easily and it was just the right weight to lift and tilt and do whatever you need. But tip, take the extra little desk shelf off before moving it through doors.But overall this is a wonderful desk that has already been through a move and cats and spills, and smaller than normal doorways!

I impulsively purchased this desk purely because it was on sale one night after my old desk had broken one too many times for my hillbilly ingenuity to repair. When it came and I started pulling pieces out of the box, I was suddenly a bit intimidated. Thankfully, its instructions were clear enough for me to fairly quickly figure it out. I assembled a good bit of it on my own, but my daughter happened to wander in at the appropriate time to help me on the tricky parts. I would advise having 2 people as lining up some of the holes just went MUCH easier with an extra set of hands. With a bit more time and patience, one person probably COULD do it... this person just wouldn't want to be that person lolSince having this desk, I have noticed significantly reduced neck pain- I am LOVING the raised shelf for my monitor! I find the shelves to be very sturdy and well designed.

I was looking for a desk with more space, and also a way to lift my monitor without having to use a bunch of books! The old desk I was using had a hutch, so I was limited on how big a monitor I could use. I also had limited space on the desktop, so I couldn’t put my printer OR scanner on the desktop. The printer was on the top of the hutch, which made it difficult to add paper, change ink, etc. now I have a lot of space; the printer and scanner both fit on the desktop easily. I haven’t even begun to put things on the side shelves yet! The only thing I would change is putting adjustable height legs. I really wanted to put that file cabinet under the desk, but a: it was slightly taller than the desk, and b: the support bar on the desk goes across the middle of it.Assembly was fairly simple, with lot of extra screws and bolts. All the parts were well labeled, and the nuts, bolts, and screws were in numbered, sealed bags instead of the cardboard bubbles. The instructions can be a bit difficult to understand, but I managed to get through it all! This is definitely a two-person job…though you might be able to assemble it alone if you have room to lay the desk on its side.
