Excellent (and necessary) product; excellent seller; excellent price (when I bought it).
These are not cheap but they are worth every penny (and this seller had an excellent price) . I have used these tubes (and variants) for several years after noticing how the behaviour of my Hahn's macaws deteriorated come November and then sparked up as soon as they had some UV light. It was a remarkable change, and so even as a cheapskate this is something I do not skimp on. Don't run them 12h/day every day and they will last maybe 24 months. They do NOT last forever though: well, the 'light' does (as far as we can see but the UV component of the light (which we cannot see) does not. . This is a review of the tubes from this seller and they get 5*. My birds (I have 16 of various species) get 1* because they love to chew cables! Buy the tubes - they fit in any fluorescent fitting (you do NOT have to buy the over-priced arcadia fittings and controllers) although I did in the early days - but DO buy electronic controllers which run the tubes at higher than the 50hz of most controllers. We don't (mostly) notice the difference, but birds do: if you've ever suffered from 'fluorescent flicker' you'll know it's uncomfortable. So: the product 5* the seller & price 5* the packing: in a rigid tube 6* I also bought some 3' and 4' tubes.

Also, meinem (grau-)Papagei war sofort anzusehen, das ihm das Licht gefällt Ich habe mir es ein bisschen heller vorgestellt, also ich weis es nicht, aber vom Gefühl würde ich sagen, das normale 58W Lampen heller sind, aber ich will auch nicht irgendwas erzählen was nicht stimmt, ist meine Meinung. Also werde ich noch eine Normale Lampe dazuschalten. Ich bin Sehr zufrieden, Wichtig ist mir, das das Licht meinem Grauem und den Anderen Vögeln gut tut, außerdem ist es für Menschen ja auch angenehmer. Deswegen volle Stern-Zahl . :)

Defekte Sendung, wofür der Verkäufer nichts kann, wurde anstandslos sofort ersetzt. Guter Service. Ware war gut verpackt. Zu empfehlen.
