I bought this to show my daughter the jojo and how to use it. I was expecting the old school light jojo but this one is a bit on the heavy side and I was not really thinking that this is not going to be like the classic plastic Coke jojo's I was use too. Dont get me wrong this jojo is top quality and nice graphics but its not for a beginner and its not light and it will hurt your hand if it returns to your hand. For beginners I would suggest a nice light plastic jojo and for the not so beginners I would still prefer a good high quality plastic jojo. Better luck next time for me as this one is lying in the cupboard gathering dust.

To be fair, I was sceptical about my 10yr spending this amount of money on a yo-yo, which I assumed would either be lost, broken or put in the draw with all the others things that she couldn’t possibly live without until she got them, got bored with them etc etc, I’m sure every parent is aware of this story. However, it’s very good quality for the price, (my kid brother went through a serious yo-yo phase in his teens and went through many types and strings, so I have a small amount of knowledge about them from 20 odd years ago) it’s instructions are clear and simple, nice amount of spare strings, which if it isn’t discarded, she will need, glove and bag as well. Lovely weight to it which is important for stunts and so far so good and is being used everyday . PLUS as she bought it rather than me I’ll happily give it 5*

Purchased this for my son for Christmas thinking it will be a good quality yoyo for him to learn with. I used to be abit of a yoyo fanatic when I was a young lad lol! This is supposed to be for beginners but my son struggles with it. Most the time when you get it spinning, it leans to one side so doesn't seem evenly weighted, and also its hard to get it to come back up when you flick it up to rewind it. Looks the part though! But overall not very happy with it.

It's my first yoyo and I'm very happy. It's smooth, stabile. Comes with whole set which is cool and after couple hours of play you will understand why there's also this special glove. Remember this is aluminium yoyo, so it's hard and quite heavy so if you have gentle hands it may be a bit painful. Anyway contact with a seller was good and ship was fast. Also I recommend to buy a yoyo holder - it's a nice gadget

I bought this for a present for my 10 year old nephew who was getting bored with a more traditional wooden yo yo. It was quite fiddly to get the string on and get it working but there are plenty of good videos on YouTube that are really useful. I tried it myself and found it quite difficult but within a couple of hours my nephew had got the hang of it and was wanting to start learning tricks. Once a beginner has got the hang of it there's loads of scope to use it for even complicated tricks so it's a good all round yo yo. The glove is a nice addition as after about an hour of using the yo yo without the glove my nephew said his finger was getting sore. It also comes with a spare string.

My son age 10 loves this yo-yo. He says it feels nice to hold and the weighting is nice. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars for East to use is because the string did not come attached to the yo-yo and we (unaware) put it on the wrong way. There is a specific way of attaching it, apparently, so we took it a circus toy shop for him to do. After that, it’s a great yo-yo and I would recommend.
