Replacing the POS wood rollers on a dresser. Not the fault of these rollers, but I had to drill out the holes of the previous rollers, glue in a dowel, and then drill the new hole. Downside of these is that it's really difficult to screw them n. You almost need a specialized slim open ended wrench.,

I love these caster wheels! I have an antique dresser which I found many years ago at a garage sale. It was in pretty bad shape, but after stripping the layers of paint, replacing the handles (which had obviously been replaced sometime in the past as they were plastic), making a new shelf for a missing one, uncovering the locks, and even finding a key to fit the locks, it was looking and functioning pretty well. However, I did end up taking the remaining caster wheels off it as one was missing and two were broken. I thought I would leave it wheel-less, but then these showed up and they are perfect! Shape, color, design just right for an antique dresser. Needed to fill in previous holes and then pre-drilled for these caster wheels. Went on easily. Doesn't roll all over, but does move when you want it to--just what they should do.

These quality built and classy looking brass 1" casters will be going on a display cabinet to make it a lot easier to move so we can clean behind it.Short enough to present no 'tipping' ptoblems and strong enough for what we are using it for.Easy to install. One main large screw type center stem and three more smaller screws to heep it in place once installed. No twisting loose.I like the looks of these and I certainly like the obvious quality.Very good value for us. Easy to recommend.

These were twice the price of other casters I tried and they broke as soon as weight was put on them. They look pretty and felt nice but did not hold up. One broke off inside the furniture leg so I couldn’t return. $45 wasted. Would not recommend.
