Really liked this tray as Chewbacca, my new rescue cat, took to it like a Wookiee to hyperspace! He's never used a litter tray before, but has had to become an indoor cat, so I started him out with no lid, and within a couple of days he was using it fully enclosed.Its a good sturdy item, and the top secures well to the base with a reassuring snap, allowing confident carrying with the handle even when full. Charcoal filter is great for number ones, though number twos are still a bit whiffy! The shovel on its little hook is a blessing, keeping everything together - it's a little bit weedy, but it does the job. No scatter or spraying but Chewies not much of a digger and is neat when it comes to a wee.All in all, highly recommended at a very attractive price point, and delivered even earlier than expected.

The media could not be loaded. Yeah it's a litter box. The top bit opening up is really convenient. Does the jobI will say it clicks in place quite hard (shown in video) I assume so you can pick it up by the handle but it means when you try to open it it feels stuck and there isn't a handle or groove or anything to grab to pull it up so you just sort of have to shove your hand in there and pull.

I thought it would only be fair to write a review after a bit of use.I wouldn’t say that my cat is very big but he did need a large size litter tray.I personally would have preferred to have the flap on but my cat won’t use the tray if the flap is on there, so I took it off. It detaches very easily.I’ve found that the lift up lid is very useful when you’re cleaning the tray.The added bonus for me was the mat and the scoop, I didn’t realise how much they would be in use.The mat is great because most of my house is carpet, it mostly protects the carpet around the litter tray. I would highly recommend getting one. It’s very easy to clean too!When I was first looking for a litter tray I looked for hours and hours online and this one stood out the most to me not only because it has added extras, it’s also a great value for money.Very happy with this product!

We adopted our cat so we weren’t sure how he’d settle into the hooded litter tray we got. However, he easily got the hang of it and its nice that he can see outside as the flap allows light in. It’s not that big so can be easily popped in the corner somewhere. The litter mat that comes with it does the best job that it can to catch fallen litter. Also the way the scooper is located at the top of the tray is very neat and the foldable action is super easy. My box came perfectly fine but you may need to apply some light pressure when getting the bottom and top of the tray to connect as it was a little tough. It comes with a carbon filter which was the main reason we wanted a hooded litter tray - to keep the stink to a minimum! It really does a good job. But my advise it to stock up on the carbon filters because once it’s used up you will REALLY notice. When you have pets it’s inevitable they will stink a bit but this helps.

Great litter tray. Easy to prop the flap up so my kitten can get in easily. The hood prevents litter getting everywhere and the mat catches any bits that do get flicked out. Good size for my kitten now and will be big enough for him as he gets older. Only negative is the scoop is very small so I bought an alternative.

The raised top works well. The tray itself is quite shallow (which I needed for a kitten).It is described as large but would only be suitable for small cats

Our new kitten (8 weeks) has had no problems using this with the cat flap either up or down. Very easy to fill and clean. We haven't come across any problems so far. All in all, very good buy! Smell wise, it does come through a little but that's to be expected.
