I’m now a senior citizen and anything lightweight and sturdy is a must. My old ironing board of 25+ years served me well but in recent years it has been rusting and difficult to move because of the weight. In the last 5+ years my husband has had to move and set up the board for me. I decided to try this ironing board based on reviews, it’s light weight and the fact that it is NOT made in China. My husband and I are incredibly pleased! It is light weight, the cover is cushioned and tight, easy to move and set up and stable (no moving or rocking on our tile floor). What a great find! Now I can iron with ease and control once again! Plus I purchased a lightweight Panasonic iron that fits perfectly on the metal iron holder. Great items!

It's the best ironing board I've ever owned. It's well made, very sturdy and compact. I love the shelf for the iron. It's nice to have the extra space to ironing since the iron has It's own space.
