Amazing camera, would definitely recommend.
When I bought this, I didn’t expect it to be this good. One feature I really love is how easily you can tilt it up or down with a simple push - perfect if you're a bit paranoid about a camera always pointing at you. I never even installed the Razer software; my Windows PC recognized it instantly and it works flawlessly. The resolution is crisp - just a great camera overall.

Honestly, a good purchase for the price pretty good quality the lighting decent on it and it adjust sits well on my monitor. Very good beginner camera. If you don’t wanna spend too much money honestly I like it a lot works perfect for me and streaming.

Great camera for the price, but I echo the lifespan concerns
I've owned two of these Kiyo webcams. Overall the quality for a 1080P/30FPS webcam is pretty good. The integrated light is nice in some circumstances if you don't already have something else.My main concern is that one of my Kiyos died after about two years of use. It just stopped working. It isn't an issue with my computer as testing on other machines had the same result of the camera not working any longer. The other is still working fine. I've never had any other webcams die on me. Even my old webcams from 20+ years ago still work fine. From other comments on the webcam that seems to be somewhat common of an issue. This is all anecdotal though, so it's hard to say how widespread of an issue this. It's something to keep in mind though. The questions of long term life of the product aside, at only about $50 now (as of writing this) the original Kiyo is a great option for a budget webcam. At it's full price of $100 or so there are a lot of other options that have better quality, so if your budget is in the $100+ range then I'd look at something else. I took a star away for one of my Kiyos dying and it being a possible common issue, otherwise for the price at $50 I'd give it five stars.

Clean video, ring light is a plus!
I recently started using the Razer Kiyo for my streaming and video calls, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. The built-in ring light is a game changer, providing excellent illumination that enhances my appearance without harsh shadows. It’s adjustable, so I can easily switch between soft and bright lighting, which is perfect for different environments. The video quality is impressive as well, delivering sharp and clear 1080p resolution at 30fps or 720p at 60fps. It captures colors accurately, making my streams look professional. The setup was a breeze; it’s plug-and-play, and it works seamlessly with various streaming software. One minor drawback is that the focus can sometimes be a bit finicky if I move around a lot, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, the Razer Kiyo has significantly improved my streaming quality and made my setup feel more complete. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their online presence!

Suddenly distorted my image/Stopped working DURING A ZOOM MEETING
The first time using it and it suddenly starts acting erratically. During a ZOOM meeting, it suddenly inverted my image and showed a blurred image of my laptop screen upside down to all participants in the meeting There was no way to reset or fix it. I tried downloading Synapse from Razer's website and I promise it is the crappiest user experience ever. It keeps giving me an invalid_request error message but it is not telling me what to fix or where I made an error in setting up an account. THIS IS POOR UX DESIGN. Right now, the camera is supposed to be turned off, but it is still on. The light is lit and I keep hearing the sound you hear when you take a picture. I have restarted and unplugged my laptop and the camera andit might come on for about 5 seconds, make that picture taking sound, then crash. Windows gives me a camera not attached message. Windows is up to date.Razer customer service has not ben very helpful. I have followed teh steps and it still doesn't work. If you are looking for a true plu and play experince, AVOID this camera UNLESS you are already invested in the Razer gaming ecosystem. Otherwise, you will spend HOURS trying to figure out how to use their BLOATED software( for a camera) and still not having a a working camera. Their customer service will send you a ton of emails that do not fix the problem.
