Couldn’t believe this worked! Had awful overlapping black stains on a wooden kitchen worktop from a metal biscuit tin. The bottles quite small so I was concerned, but a little goes a long way. I didn’t even sand it first, just poured a small amount on and spread it over the stain lightly with a toothbrush. Left it for half an hour and the stains disappeared! No scrubbing whatsoever. Then wiped off with a wet cloth. No difference in colour of wood compared to the rest of the worktop either! Recommending it to everyone.

Super product that was ideal for removing the staining on my windowsill. I wasn’t expecting much from such a small bottle, which I initially thought may have been a waste of money when it arrived. But I gave it a go and it lightened the wood a few shades. It did smell quite strong and it was a very thin liquid, so it was very easy for it to run to places where you may not have wanted it to go. Overall, it was good value for money and did a good job with minimal effort required. I would recommend it for small DIYp projects.

Wow read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. black stain on a side table from water damage (plant leaked) and wow first application took most of it out and the second completed the job used a toothbrush to apply and used sparingly left it for a few hours and washed of. I have orange oiled to put some moisture back and it looks great Cannot recommend this enough

Very weak for what I had. It made no difference for water damage. But it makes sence if you use at home, its posonous. Need a workshop for a stringer option.

Works as expected

Unpromising start: instructions written in - what? - number 3 typeface. Impossible to read without a magnifying glass, an early sign of the manufacturer's attitude to the consumer. This borne out by the non-functionality of the product. I tried 3 applications, each followed by washing off and drying out. Did not do a 4th application as by this time I realized it was actually making the wood darker.

We had a black stain on our wooden floor for years and tried many things and ended up covering the mark with a rug . I brought this in the vain hope it might work as the reviews were good and to my surprise the black stains have all been eaten up by the bleach but the wooden floor is fine . You need to leave it to do its work and the area after will need to be cleaned and ideally waxed and perhaps a little colour added to blend back into the existing floor but this really is a great product

Mixed reviews for this product so I thought I would add a positive one. First impression…. Surprisingly good. On light to medium stains very good. On dark stains it certainly lightens and improves greatly. Multiple applications used. It didn’t expect it or anything else to fully remove near black stains so I’m happy it met expectations. Small bottle but goes a long way…
