CHI 44 Ironguard Thermal Protection Spray 238g

Amazing heat protectant.Works great before blowdrying. No greasiness! Helps my hair stay soft and in good condition.It's a little hard to spray with set hands and getting the back of the head etc.I prefure the "OSIS+ Flatliner" bottle but after buying that once you can pour this one into that bottle to save your pennies 🤣Overall, it is great value compared to others! I haven't found one cheaper that does as good of a job.

It doesn’t doesn’t leave my hair dry, I don’t straighten my hair so I can’t tell you if it’s effective in that sense but keeps my hair protected when blow drying my hair!

I honestly can’t recommend this heat protectant enough. I first saw it in a YouTube Short where hair school students tested a bunch of popular heat protectants by spraying them on receipt paper and then flat ironing it. Most of the sprays left some burn marks but the CHI spray left the paper completely white. That totally sold me.Now I get why all the 90s scene kids called this the OG. I flat iron my hair twice a week and haven’t needed a trim in ages no split ends at all. My hair still looks healthy, and the product smells amazing too. It’s super versatile you can even use it as a general protectant in bad weather when your hair tends to dry out.Honestly, it’s worth every penny.

Its good leaves hair smooth and soft and can never see any split ends or any tangling seems to really work, i have seen a lot of comments about it being drying! Which i did find sometimes, not every time but mainly when i think id used a little too much, then id just brush it out a few times after heat use with a denman boar/nylon bristle brush then my hair was sooo soft!!! Id buy again as it definitely seems to protect from the heat damage id usually have seen.

4b/4c hair owner here. Product did what it needed to do, hair bounced back to its natural state on washday with no heat damage from a hot blow out. Gives hair sheen and does not leave flakes or pastey feel after a couple of days. I recommend this product! I will say the actual bottle is hard to manoeuvre when applying directly to the hair. As the consistency of the product is water-like, I have to spray it onto my hands then apply it through the strands of my hair or it will drip down your face and neck and make your hair feel greasy.

The spray nozzle broke on the second use which was annoying as I had to decant the product into another vessel. As a result I haven’t been reaching for it, seems to do the job on the occasions I have used it.

Amazing for blowdries especially for afro hair. I know it says unscented but it does have a nice hair salon scent to it so if you are using it for yourself, it will feel as If you've stepped out of the salon and smell that way too. Left the hair feeling super soft and shiny and healthy looking. This paired with the Revlon perfectionist brush *chefs kisses*Happy I made the investment.

I used this for the first time yesterday and actually received a compliment in the words of "Your hair looks really healthy". May not seem a big deal to most but let me tell you my hair is most certainly NOT healthy! :-( I'm mixed race and have fine curly hair which I straighten every day (without the use of heat protection as no matter which brand I try, they leave my hair feeling greasy and looking dirty) and becasue of this the ends are frazzled and I have split ends all over the shop :-( Making it look straight without any frizz is a challenge - believe you me. I have hundreds of pounds worth of products that just seem to fall short of doing what I need them to do. I recenty had a trim and the hairdresser told me that I really need to be using heat protection spray - this I know - but as I said, I don't like how they make my hair look and feel. But I typed in "Best heat protection sprays" into Google and CHI flat iron spray came up in a list. Read the reviews and was sold. So here I am. Hair looking and feeling the best it has in years. This properly nourishes hair, banishes frizz...even disguises my split ends. What is also extraordinay is that I had to walk quite a distance yesterday and it was quite warm so I got quite hot... this is usually when my hair will frizz up and puff up and curl at the roots. But it didn't. But, the biggest winner is the compliment I received about it looking healthy :-DI'm eagerly waiting for pay day so I can buy a few more products from the brand. The silk infusion cream looks great. Will also be trying the shampoo and treatments.

une référence pour les brushings et plaques.Et honnêtement, parmi les protecteurs “lissants”, je le trouve plus intéressant texture plus légère* protège bien sans trop “graisser”* moins effet silicone lourd* bon pour brushing + plaques occasionnelles* aide contre la casse thermique* fonctionne bien sur cheveux texturés lissésEt surtout :il donne souvent un rendu plus souple/naturel que certains sprays très “polish”.

Es mi protector de calor favorito porque no deja el pelo óleoso o grasoso, sí protege y desde que lo uso mi cabello se maltrata menos, sin embargo, si tiene un olor ligero a fijador y sobretodo si aplicas demasiado el cabello se puede sentir un poco tieso o no tan manejable.
