Installation can be a little tricky but everything I'm manual is easy to follow. Been up and running a few weeks now and still no issue. Only thing I could think I should have purchased a bigger one for when my pond is fully upgraded but will definitely purchased same brand. Personally don't look at the negative reviews I've seen too many and when installing I found then not to really be an issue.

This is the second Blagdon Powersafe Switchbox I have installed. The seals on the first failed after umpteen years in use and multiple openings for cable changes, additions, removals etc which resulted in the gradual loss of the screws which clamp it tight against the seal. I cannot, therefore, offer any criticism of the device and I was more than happy to install another.At new, the led's are bright and the stick on labels for each circuit are clear. However, after a dozen years or so, I found that the led's faded and the stick on labels, well, didn't stick on. Neither were surprising given that the box has lived outside all its life, fully exposed to rain, snow, heat, sunshine and, of course, muck. Not only do I have no complaints in this regard, in retrospect I'm both surprised and pleased they lasted this long.In my experience this is a good buy. I've only rated it 4 stars rather than 5 for value because I really don't know the market and I was never going to look for an alternative.The internal circuit board is now easily detachable to enable an easier cable installation, a great improvement on what was sometimes a tricky action. Each circuit is protected by its own internal fuse which are easy to replace.

We have all of our electrics for the pond fitted by a qualified Electrician who set up all of our new and old equipment through this. Its muh easier to isolae individual pieces of equipment and only turn off what you need to for maintainance purposes.

Good quality components and manufacture with spare fuses supplied. But internal space for completing the wiring is limited. You have to get all wiring complete before it mounts on the wall, safety reasons I suppose, but means it's hanging in the air while you make the connections. Also you need plenty of slack in the cables as it has to slide up before coming off the bracket. Difficult to make it look neat and tidy.The button function is a bit woolly and sometimes it's tricky to turn things off or on, you have to get the angle of press just right. The red LEDs are much fainter than the green, and the green light the garden up as they are on all the time that there is power to the box. Would be neater if they timed out.

I bought this product to replace an existing waterproof switch box which was anything but.I think its pretty good.I have one input and 4 outputs ( a big pump, lights, an in pond UV filter and a small pump).The first thing I noticed was you mount a mounting plate and then the switch just push fits over it. FANTASTIC. No grovelling in inaccessible places trying to wire in situ. You could put all the cables in, screw the front on, test it then slip it into place in my case on the outside of the pond wall. Much easier.The other thing I liked was enough space to make the connections. It was really easy even with 4 outputs. The front of the switch appears to locate very firmly against the casing, no fiddling with rubber seals again very easy compared to previous products.The switches illuminate amber when off, green when on very easy to see even in daylight.The only slight issue I had was my input cable was an Armoured cable and a bit thick for the entry point. I had to trim some of the armour steel sheath to get it in but it seems fine.Clearly only just installed so can't comment on longevity but it looks very sturdy.Recommended.

Replacement for 3 outlet box. Bit fiddly to connect cables but once done easy to see what is switched on. Sturdy and good quality. Would recommend.

Well made control panel but definitely far, far too fiddly to wire - still needs a redesign. Terminal blocks on each outgoing way are way too small really which hampers stranded cable insertion for wiring. Took longer to fit for customer than I expected and was very frustrating,I actually mounted this in an IP rated enclosure with other pond control gear as I don't like trailing 230v cables anywhere. I glanded an SWA into the enclosure through a 3 pole isolator and supplied it from there. The previous one weathered after a few years and looked awful.....Not bad but as with all domestic stuff its fiddly to install.
