I am picky about how my bacon is cooked and this thing made it perfectly! A little crispy and not overdone or underdone. It is easy to liad the bacon slices. All the bacon grease is collected and can be used for cooking other items. The soft plastic lid sits on top and blocks any splatter. I see some others don't like the soft lid but it does it's job just fine. The bacon is not directly exposed to plastic in this setup. The ceramic is thick and of good quality. The little ring that holds the bacon strips is ceramic also and is quite sturdy. I would highly recommend this product.

This is awsome!! So easy to use and clean up. Cooks the bacon evenly and just leave it a little longer for that crunchy bacon. We had 6 full pieces of thick cut in for 10 minutes and it came out perfect with a nice crunch and evenly cooked. Ceramic makes it durable and very very easy to clean. Also it contains the bacon smell, not like a pan where you smell it for a long time even after cleaning up.

This bacon cooker is phenomenal. It cooks bacon great. Crispy and it is not in the grease. But the rubber lid split on the 3rd use. The ceramic design is perfect but the rubber is poor quality. I would still purchase again, but figure out a new lid to use.

I was really happy to find this bacon cooker. But my happiness has been destroyed THREE times. I bought on of these for a friend while visiting. Then bought one for myself when I returned home. The one I bought for a friend cracked after a couple weeks. I ordered a replacement under warranty. A couple months later mine cracked. I was very careful not to expose it to thermal shock, because ceramic is very susceptible to them changes. When I told my friend mine had cracked, she told me her REPLACEMENT cracked. ALL THREE that I bought have cracked. After the first one cracked, we were both very careful in handling the bacon cooker. Very disappointed. Be warned!

The cooker is well made. The silicone disc top works very well at keeping the grease from spattering in the microwave. I found the use instructions incorrect for my microwave. Made way too crispy bacon for my taste. I’m learning. The cooker cleans up easily. The bacon tastes very good.

Quality, but can't make THICK CUT bacon. IF you get one with no manufactering flaws(my first one had a crack in the ceramic on the inside, it was "fired" that way. ) it is a well made product, that if not dropped should give a long time of service. MY PROBLEM, it is just too small to use THICK CUT bacon. You can squeeze the pieces on the bars, but you have to push hard to get then in, leaving your hands covered in bacon fat. It also makes your bacon super curly because of the shape you had to make to get it in. IF you use the thinner width store bacon, and only want to make 6 pieces of bacon at a time, this seems to be a great product, as everything is ceramic(easy to clean and sturdy unless dropped) It is deep enough to get your cooked bacon out of the fat at the bottom, and the flexible "lid" makes it so there is not splattering in the microwave.

It sounds like it is going to blow up in the microwave. I wouldn’t recommend it.

On my 1K watt microwave, 3 strips of southern style thick bacon on three spaced apart spokes of the hanger, cook to a pleasant crispy finish in 7 minutes. Fill all six spokes, and the bacon has uncooked areas, and difficult to get all pieces cooked to the same satisfying crunchiness. As a bonus use, I half fill the ceramic pot with chili or soup, hold a piece of waxed paper down with the spoked wheel, and get a different kind of hot meal (cook times will vary with what is cooked). The bacon cooker easily cleans, with supplied silicone disc, bacon does not splatter in the 'wave, and is sturdy, if a little heavy. All in all, a great kitchen tool for bacon, soup, and chili cooking.
