Q: I turned down all of the volume controls and turn off the drum amp first, then get a loud pop sound every time when I turn off the unit?

The transistor amplifier of this amp adopts OCL circuit structure, this circuit does not have the output capacitance like OTL circuit. Therefore, when the amp is powered on, a sudden voltage will be generated at the input terminal of the power amplifier voltage amplification part. After being amplified by the power crystal, the amp will make a "feeding" sound. In order to prevent this scary sound, some amps manufacturers install a delay switch in front of the anp output. When the power amplifier is turned on, the output is not connected to the connection terminal on the horn, and the relay is energized after a delay of several seconds. At this time, you will hear a "click" inside the amp, and the amp output terminal is connected to the amp. This method is used to avoid the "feeding" noise at the moment of starting up. Although this method can avoid this sound every time you turn on the computer, it is relatively expensive. A relay is used as a amp for the delay switch. After some days of use, even if the circuit is okay, problems will occur due to the contact point of the relay switch. These problems will cause the sound quality to deteriorate and the sound becomes smaller or even no sound. Due to the above reasons, we chose not to add a relay. Please adjust the volume of the power amplifier to the lowest position before turning on the machine, and reduce the "feeding" sound to a lower level. More importantly, it will not Various shortcomings derived after adding Relay switch.
