Smooth and tasty
I'm quite fussy about coffee and have taken time to try many brands and I have to say this is smooth and tasty, no bitterness or harsh aftertaste. If you're prone to heartburn after strong coffee like I am then this is worth a try. 2 level scoops per person or 5 scoops for a 4 cup cafetiere.

it took some getting used to
this is very strong, im a costa/nero girl and this is more like double espresso in a single shot...for me. Ive managed to figure out my proportions of coffee to milk though...and adding some syrups... I wont buy again unfortunately,I just like it less strong. it does make a nice crema, and amells lovely, so eapeesso drinkers will likely really enjoy this one

Good price for the quantity. Tastes ok, it is on the bitter side though and not much depth to the flavour.

Odd smell, more like instant coffee, not the Italian smell and taste I was expecting
Just can't abide the strange smell, perhaps old beans I'm not sure, tastes like a cheap instant not the Arabica/Robusta taste I expected, not eligible for a return so I recommend that you buy just one and see if you like it before buying a 3-pack like I did

Bought this a local bistro serves it and its delicious from a coffee machine, bought the filtered and not as good ( but worth drinking)

It's just mediocre in the verge to be bad
TL'DR: way to expensive for the coffee quality as it barely tastes as coffee to be honest. Naturally, Robusta coffee beans tends to be cheaper than Arabica and that's ok and understandable, however this blends more towards Robusta mixed with the higher intensity you will barely taste the coffee. Do you know that coffee smell coming from your machine when you start brewing it? This ground coffee is not the case but just herbs or plants smells/tastes, it kinda makes sense for its taste to be more 'fruity' however it's more like burn pop-corn or anything else than coffee. I've tried on the expresso machine (which is intended for it), so I doubt any other recomented machines would make any difference. Overall: 2/10 (1/5 in Amazon's rating doesn't sound right, Amazon's had other really bad options than this to be fair)
