Im at year 2 now owning and carrying this with me in my tool bag and it's still amazing. I'm shocked I haven't had to spotweld a new 18650 in it yet but its rarely ever died on me on a job. Its built tough, lightweight and pretty dang quite. It's a small accurate output which is great for detailed work and the ergonomics are perfect. Not for deep heat or large areas obviously but taking a sticker off paper or shrink tube and its 10/10 from me. Often I have a corded one plugged in next to me and still use this one. lol

This little heat gun has worked great so far! And as you can see in the picture I took with a thermal camera, it really does get up to about 600℉. I realize that the picture only shows the temperature at 574.1℉ but that was the best that I could do. I still don't really have a lot of experience using a thermal camera, and the temperature would fluctuate depending on where I would face the mini heat gun. It sure didn't feel like it was blowing that hot, but apparently it is. It certainly blows hot enough so that I can't keep my hand in front of it. Anyway, it sure is easy to use. However, you might hold down the button for a few seconds and have nothing happen. And that might be because they say to hold down the button for like 3 seconds to turn it on, yet your particular mini heat gun might take holding down the button for a little longer before it starts up. With mine it seems like I have to hold down the button for 5 or 6 seconds. Which isn't a big deal really, as long as you realize that could be possible and to try it instead of just assuming that if it doesn't kick on in exactly 3 seconds then it doesn't work. Well, once it's on with the blue light on, it's just blowing around the room temperature air. When you are ready though, you just push the power button, like the regular quick press of a button, and the light should turn red and the heating element should come on. You will know for sure that it is on because the tip of the mini heat gun will be emitting an orange color. And then from there, you can push the button again and go back to the blue fan mode, and then again to go back to the red heating mode, and on and on and on, lol. When you are ready to turn it off you just hold down the button until it shuts off. Just like powering it on though, it might take longer than holding it down for 3 seconds to turn it off.

I've had this for two months. It didn't work very well to begin with, and now it only blows warm air and it takes hours to charge. If it ever becomes available do not buy it!

Convenient, Lightweight, decent build quality and not very expensive. Cons: battery does not last long in use, even worse does not hold a charge very long at all between uses. You have to know in advance before you are going to use it and let it charge for a few hours or it will disappoint you. Overall would give this 5 dstars if it wasn't for the battery performance, but since the major reason for buying this was the convenience of not having to plug it in, I dinged it 2 stars.

Purchased for the purpose of assisting in the removal of vinyl boat lettering in a storage yard with no electricity. Worked very well for its size and price. Battery life was as expected. Heat was better than I had hoped. Now that the lettering task is done, it will live in my garage to do shrink tubing on motorcycle restorations

I bought this heat gun for crafting. I have enjoyed using it! It was worked great with candle making. The price was great for me! I like that it’s cordless. It’s easy to use and very light. It’s quiet and I like that it has different speeds of heating. The power of the heat gun was great too! I would definitely buy again.

Heat Shrinks very good and it does get hot so be careful.

Had a problem with the first one, had to be replaced because someone else already returned it damaged. Received a new one, took fooooorever to heat up enough to melt the solder inside the solder shrink tubing. Works “ok” for only shrink wrap. Even then it’s not that great. Great that it’s small, but only shrinks a tiny bit at a time. Thats with the shield installed. I work in automotive, and do a lot of wire repair, these seemed like a perfect option. They sadly were not.
