Orbit 53016 Granite Resin Rock Box Sprinkler Valve Cover

Purchased this to cover a sprinkler regulator. It does look like a rock. It seems flexible but once it is set in place it is firm and rigid. It has holes in its base to drive metal tent stakes. I do wish they included the tent stakes with it. It would make a complete installation. It has plenty of room to insulate inside it.

There's not much you can say about a rock. But it is as advertised and looks a lit better than the pipes sticking out of the ground that it covers.

If you are looking to give your yard some curb appeal this will do it. The rock looks much better than a black box covering my sprinkler valves. The rock cover is far from natural looking up close and the color does not have much shadows in it. The construction is plastic but the look and feel is very durable so I do believe this will hold up to the hot summer sun. Over all it was what I was expecting to make my yard just a bit more eye pleasing. If you would like to spend more money for a more realistic valve cover they are out there. This item is priced well for looks and quality so you can't go wrong.

I have been wanting one of these for a couple of years now, well, actually 3 of them. We installed an aerobic septic system when we purchased our bare property a few years ago. I do not mind the three round green lids of our septic system, however, we have horses and no fences around the system and we needed something to cover the lids so they would not get stepped on and broken. We had been using a plastic buffet table and an upside down wheelbarrow. I mean, that works, but, even in the county we try to look less red neck than we actually are. Our septic lids are 18" across in diameter. The widest point of this rock are 24.5" x 20" and the rock is about 19" tall. Thus, these fit over our lids perfectly. We eventually plan on doing landscaping around the rocks and bury them a little bit to make them more realistic, but so far so good. Burying them will also help them from being blown away in our crazy East Texas weather. They are about 5lbs, which is lightweight by Texas Severe Thunderstorm standard which have blow my 75lbs canoe like rocketship across our yard. I have (2) of THESE sandstone rocks and granite one. I prefer the sandstone ones with our decor, but all are functional and serve the purpose that was intended. Good product and when we purchased these, they were a good price.

This fake rock has a very realistic look and feel to it. I am very happy with this purchase. It conceals a meter on the side of my house perfectly. From a distance this rock meets all my expectations. Up close however, the rock has a base ridge that goes entirely around the circumference of the rock that is quite visible to the naked eye. I placed mine on crushed decorative stone which leaves little margin for error to cover the ridge. My guess is, if placed in grass this would be very hard to tell if it is fake or not even while directly on top of the rock. For the price this was a no brainer for me. It's a fraction of the price compared to many other fake rocks. I am ordering the smaller version tonight to cover my propane gas tank lid in my backyard. Very satisfied

Light weight, sturdy, relatively realistic looking. I use it to hide my sprinkler timer and selinoid. I bought 5. One for each station. And they fit right in with the garden.

Very light and easy to use. Looks good. I put a house number sign on it and placed it in the front garden. Lots of compliments. Be sure to use lawn staples to hold it down. I waited to get it on sale. Got 37% off. Great deal.

I built a low profile base using dowels, wood glue, and some 1x3 ensuring the centre was uncovered. Then I placed this faux rock over my well head that measured close to the height of this product and it worked great. Used soil to create a seamless look around the perimeter of the rock. Good buy

Looks good but needs to season a bit in the outdoors. Looks so clean compared to other rocks. Mix it with some plants and you are all set. Comes with no pegs to stake it so you need to get some wire tent stakes. For the price it's ideal. No complaints here.
