Junk - later amended.
Useless, absolute cheap useless junk - the instructions tell you to gently press the battery cover and turn anticlockwise to remove, I've tried everything from a gentle thumb to a large screwdriver and the cover is still firmly stuck. Would not recommend.Update - shortly after writing this review I contacted Amazon and asked for a replacement, within10 minutes I had an email from Amazon saying a replacement was on its way and there was me need for me to return the faulty tuner - WELL DONE Amazon!I will write a further update when I receive the new tuner.Update - I received the new tuner by return - the battery cover came off easily and I was able to use it straight away - the tuner is very easy to use and accurate on both 6 string and bass guitars - I am therefore happy to rec commend this item.

I use it on both my electric and acoustic basses. This lets you tune (almost) silently ... or when you're being deafened by the guitarists competing with each other to play the new lick they've just learnt as loud as possible.
