Mine arrived 1 day earlier than i expected & on checking it the card holder it was indeed made of a firm plastic rather than the thin one's i've seen advertised on here. I wasnt sure if my Official NHS Exemption Card would fit as i had nothing to measure it by but it fits perfectly & the retractable cord is handy for lifting your badge up & pushing forward as far as you want so those who want to inspect your card can do so without looking down or me having to pull it up & its too short to show properly but on saying that the chord that wraps around my neck is long enough for you to show your card without using the extending & retractable cord unit. Should it cord extender break then i can easily take it off & clip my card holder onto the cord that wraps around my neck. The card holder is as stated & built with a firm plastic & in fact i've actually seen secturity guards & my local 24/7 Stores wear these & all i can say after hearing this word Lanyard being told to me by Security Guards & those working in Hospitals i can assure you that now i know why many had told me to buy a Lanyard version. I'd honestly say this is the one to buy , in the UK at least , as it is the one mainly used & advertised as being officially having the stamp of approval from the NHS. Definitely worth the money & if i hadn't found out what i've now been diagnosed with i would have by law just kept using the fask masks even though i struggled to breathe even more when i wore one , but now we are close to hopefully not needing to wear face mask unless using public transport & my country keeps extending the the period of time of when we dont need them unless using public transport & i wouldnt be surprised if its extended again & im thankful i found out what my breathing problems are not going to be made worse by wearing a face mask. I bought this holder as we've been told before how something that was a mandatory rule was now going to stop only for it to go on & continue as being mandatory. Its was just one of those things that happened that when when we were due to stop wearing masks i found by my respiratory specialist that i shouldnt have been wearing one at all & if its extended i won't need to wear my face mask now i have my card & card holder. As described & advertised & for the price i'd highly recommend this card holder as its as describe. Nice One. Thankfully i've gotten my badge & holder incase there is an extension. One last thing & that is many buying various exemption card holders on Amazon i have notived in their comments that it isnt an excemption card & of course its not as the people advertising them are only putting in a printed example of what it would look like if you have an Exception Card. You have to apply for them first by those who provide your health care & since im with the NHS i had to apply for a Physchical & Proper Exemption Card via through the Governments NHS application link & then phone in my details again to the Call Handler. An Exemption Card doesnt come with the Exemptiin Card in it as what most are seeing is what it would look like with one & im surprised at those complaining about this. Ad its obvious they dont just give them out to everyone & what those people are seeing this are seeing an Advertisement for how itd look with one. All you are getting is the card holder & once you have applied legally & through the correct channels thats when theyll decide if you need one & send out the Excemption Card Only. I'd Definitely Recommend this Excepemtion Card ONLY holder.

A bit weak but reflected in the price.

Great handy lanyard, used for work for a while but after a few months I do find that these break and fall apart. The length is perfect and has a great colour range. Very effective for the price and will happily repurchase.

Bought for a card holder for work and the length of it is decent. It’s easy to attach it to your side or bag. It’s easy to take card out of the holder as well when you need it.
