Genuine Leather Universal Fit 13-15 inch Car Truck Steering Wheel Cover, Lace Up, Stitch On Wrap, DIY Stitch w/Needle Thread

This product install might take some time (it took me about 2 hours, as I'm meticulous), but the finished product looks great. Strong thread and needle are provided (two of each, although I only needed one) along with the leather cover. Be sure to watch a YouTube video about installation. And be patient. Don't rush. Like any task that is unfamiliar, it is a little tricky at times but gets easier as you go. Thread, as you are weaving into the cover, can loop and twist upon itself and may create an unintentional knot; undo this and carry on. While ease of installation is 4 stars (let's face it, just slipping on a molded cover is easiest), the final look and feel of this is five.

It was a little intimidating at first but once I got started it was pretty easy. There are several Youtube videos you can see first to help you get started. Be sure to follow the same sticking throughout the process and not be switching or it will not look correct. I liked this better than the other type that just go around the wheel and still have a gap. This products allows you to stich it together and makes for a more genuine look and feel. The leather piece is a little on the thin side but it should last for a while. It was not bad for the price. Definitely would buy again.

Dressed it up with the sewing machine before install. I ended up taking out the pre laced stitches because I was afraid they wouldn’t pull taught without breaking, and I wanted it tight. I did a baseball stitch all the way around. There were huge gaps left around the spokes. I’m not sure if I have bigger than normal spikes or because I was pulling to get a tight fit. I had to do another stitch around them to pull that fabric tight, but there is puckering (imagine a scrunchie). Overall worth the time and effort which ended up being about four hours for install. Also super easy to dress up with a decorative stitch if that so inclined you! 4 stars for no directions, and the ones included on the listing aren’t great. I wouldn’t have used them anyway, but would have been nice to get some ideas for starting and finishing.

Could not install on my 2010 chrysler town and country. Could not tighten correctly due to boarder stitching on the sides of the cover. Extremely poor instructions. Mostly in Chinese.

I'm impressed that this cover was made from real leather. It's hard to get real leather in this day and age. I was impressed with his well stitched this cover is. My only advice is to buy a few extra tapestry needles because the one provided will likely break if you've never used one before. It comes with the valve caps shown in the picture.

Installed on my Suburban. It looks beautiful, it covers the worn leather on the steering wheel and makes the Steering Wheel look new again.

I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone. With all the material quality is decent for what you pay installation is not at all simple did not come with instructions I had to look it up on YouTube I watch several different videos of installation found the one that matched this kit. Halfway through the installation the stitches started snapping there were only glued in the thread is very thin. Do not recommend

Very disappointed in the quality of this cover. I have it two stars because the tire caps are very nice.
