Thick nourishing cream, absorbs well and makes a difference
This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm: I have horrible dry skin on my heels, I tend to use foot peel products regularly, which help but still require a good moisturiser in between uses. I really like the “This Works” product range so was delighted to try this balm. The range from This Works are always good quality and made with natural ingredients and this is no exception. It’s simply but attractively packaged - looks more stylish & practical than glitzy and the first thing that is apparent is the fragrance which has an undertone of laid back lavender combined with top notes of zingy citrus. I like it but I’m guessing it wouldn’t suit everyone. The balm itself is nice, a thick luxurious cream, I tend to use little on little so as not to waste it and target it to where I need it most. It absorbs really quickly, not sure if this depends upon your level of dry skin as my heels seem to suck it in, where it takes a moment or two longer around toes etc. It really does soak right in and doesn’t leave any residue on the flooring when your feet touch down. It took several days to see a notable difference but my heels are definitely improved - smoother and more supple and more importantly sore areas that I had from cracked skin now feel far more comfortable.I’d have given this product 5 stars but for the price, it’s quite expensive at £16.00 for 75mls and in honesty I’ve needed to use a fair amount to cover the dry areas, having said that I would pay the price to improve and maintain the condition of the skin on my heels, but once improved will aim to use 2-3 x weekly and supplement with something a bit cheaper, but a lovely product which will definitely go on my Birthday list.

Balm for (Hopefully!) Neat Feet
I love the name of this product as my heels are far from perfect and need rescuing! I have always had hard skin on my heels and I have lost count of the amount of different creams or treatments that I have tried. I have tried This Works products before with varying results but when I do try them I always say “I do hope that this works” (groan!)The balm comes in the typical unfussy This Works packaging and contains a tube of 75ml of the balm. The first thing I noticed was the lovely aroma which is a mix of lavender and lemon which is both soothing and quite invigorating too. I really liked the texture of the balm as it is rich but it absorbs really quickly. One of the things I usually dislike about foot creams is that you have to wait a while before putting your feet on the floor after applying it. After massaging this in you only have to wait about a minute and you’re good to go so that’s a big plus. I have sun blisters on my heels and I have found that the farm seems to have helped healing them which I was definitely impressed by.It’s still early days but I have found the cream effective but I can’t say that my feet are actually rescued! I think that as this is a long-standing (another groan!) issue it will take a long while to sort but I am more than happy to keep using this cream as it is easy to fit into my routine and I really like the aroma, the texture and the way your my feet feel moisturised but in a lighter way than some of the heavier creams out there. I think it is priced a little high for what it is but if I carry on using this and it works I would say it’s worth it so it really is a matter of time will tell one. If I find my feet are totally rescued by these I will come back and update this review but for now I would say that this is a really nice balm that seems to be working well.
