Columbia Women's Heavenly Vest

I own this vest in several colors (found them at an outlet at a great discount), but I wear them so much I’d say they’re worth the full price. I ordered this color (blush I think it’s called) for myself because I saw it at a steep discount when I was ordering another black one for a gift. These are lightweight but quite warm. They have a little bit of puff, but are fitted enough that they don’t make me look like I have no shape. They are exactly what I need when a full jacket or coat would be too much, but no outerwear’s would be too little. That said, for most companies and even some Columbia stuff I am between a small and medium, and I needed a medium in this because it is fitted and I wanted to wear it over flannels, thermals, or sweaters. I could zip the small, but it would not handle layers beneath it. It does NOT have stretch; there isn’t spandex or elastic in it, so keep that in mind for sizing. I truly appreciate the zippered pockets, and I love the inside zippered pocket at the chest so much that I don’t think I could ever go back to vests without this feature. The zippered hand pockets are big enough to hold my cell phone, but the chest pocket is smaller. The collar is lined with a soft furry fleece that is very warm and comfortable. Zipped all the way up it does cover my chin (which I like), but unzipped it does lay nicely and flat like a collar. The length is perfect for what I wanted, covers my bum, but doesn’t really go past it. (I am not tall… 5’3”, so may be different for a taller person). The other colors wash well, so I assume this one will, too. The blush pink color is more a bright peach than pink (not much pink to it, in my opinion), but I’m ok with that because I wanted something brighter. I have vests from other brands, but this particular one is the one I seek most often. It just checks all the boxes for comfort, warmth, looks, convenience, and quality. Overall, I highly recommend this.

The perfect warm vest. I now own three because I love them so much. Awesome cut, nice fabric, smooth zippers. Lightweight with next to no bulk for the warmth it provides. My only qualm with these vests is the sizing. A medium is a small and a large is a medium etc. unless they expect you to vacuum seal yourself into it and not wear any under layer. Otherwise it’s a perfect product for spring fall and winter months to keep the chilly air at bay. High quality. Long lasting. Super comfortable.

This vest had all that I was looking for... style and utility with quality materials. Beautiful cut and fit, and the stitching on the upper back is especially attractive. The slick warm interior, soft material lining the neck and well placed pockets that zip close add wanted comfort. Besides the secure exterior pockets, an interior zippered chest pocket is so helpful. I've searched far and wide to find such quality with all the bells and whistles. This IS the best!

This vest is very flattering on. It’s a slim fit but with enough room to wear a thick long sleeve under it, though you may not be able to layer much beneath it (maybe a thin base layer and a long sleeve). No frumpy look with this vest. It was warm enough in high 40 degree weather. Not been out in colder weather than that to test. The pockets were functional (not too small) and the collar has a nice soft material on the inside for the back of the neck. The inside of the vest is bright like a disco ball but it’s supposed to keep you warm so I don’t let it bother me. I’ve not taken it camping or hiking yet so it’s untested in that respect (has not been beaten up or used in elements). Will provide a rewrite after I’ve had time to do that. I’m so glad I bought this vest - I would buy a second JIC of accidental puncture or tear. Would hate to have to wear anything other than this. I am a short and have a muscular build with broad shoulders. I normally wear a M shirt. The M fit perfect.

I have had the mighty lite vest for years but Columbia discontinued that one. I have held off buying the heavenly due to confusing reviews. Well a good price got me to bite the bullet and purchase the olive green. Why are there bad reviews for this vest? It's awesome! Not super puffy but slightly more than the mighty lite. Love the omni heat feature, it helps so much in our cold Minnesota winters. The soft collar is a nice feature as well, something some people said was a downfall and I don't agree. I am 5'10" and can wear a medium or a large. I have a 36 inch bust and 30 inch waist. I opted for my usual large in vests and it fits exactly as expected! I could do a medium but it would he more fitted and I wouldn't be able to layer sweatshirts underneathe. I don't like my vests fitted for this reason. As for color, the olive green can appear Olive or brown looking depending on lighting and what you are wearing. It's an awesome color and I'm very happy with this vest! I may have to buy another!!

I don't like coats. Too bulky. I have another vest that is bigger and puffier. This Columbia vest I purchased Nov 2021 and it is "Fitted." I usually wear Medium and bought Medium. Too snug with light thermal long sleeve shirt. Be sure to Order Size Up (Med to Large). I used the vest even though snug. Very comfortable, warm, yet light weight. With a size up you can wear a sweater underneath with alittle extra room for phone, wallet, etc and still look nicely fitted. Yes, I would recommend. I intend to purchase a Large when the price comes back down.

I absolutely love this vest. It is the perfect thickness to wear under a light jacket or all day in a cool office. My arms are free and the material does not puff out. Very lightweight and warm. I also like that it can be washed. The fit is flattering as well. I also want to mention that the pockets are substantial, soft and warm. I highly recommend this vest.

My normal size is 12, the size M is perfect for me, it keeps me warm and go well with jeans and makes me stay in fashion.

This is a very pretty item and fits well. I wear it in all kinds of weather when walking my dog and it really keeps my chest warm.
