I used this product (with caution) on caucasian, fine hair to try and reverse a perm I had done a couple of months ago. I was initially worried about it being too harsh for my hair, so I mixed one tablespoon of the product with 3 tablespoons of conditioner and left it on for 10 minutes. The results were minimal but you could see it had taken a little bit to my hair. I waited a day and then applied it directly onto my hair (without mixing with conditioner) and timed 7 minutes. This had a much better effect and my hair was almost back to being poker straight. I waited another day before doing a third session and repeated it with a 10 minute timer. My perm has now been reversed and my hair is not damaged at all. There is a a slight “permy” smell to the product as it takes effect, but it’s not as strong as actual perming solution. Overall, use with caution on fine hair and I’m glad I did little and often as it’s a strong product. But very happy with it!

Glad I bought regular instead of super because YOOOOOOO! It started burning quicker than usual. Came out texlaxed as I couldn’t keep it in for long. Result was ok but wouldn’t use on virgin hair.

Smells nice and work good

Do not buy, burnt hair and followed directions as on the tub. Definitely not regular, also took four washes to get cream out. Completely ruined hair. Very unsafe product.

Arrived on time and it is the right product,exactly as it is described. I live in an area where it is quite hard to get specific products like this one so I'm glad about this online shopping possibility. And the price is really good, which is always a bonus! About the product, buy it/use it only if you know what you are doing or is being used by someone who does! It can cause bad chemical burns (haha) and it is important to follow the rules (but then again, you should know about it). I used regular this time as super has been a bit harsh on my hair before but still needed my roots to be done. Hair was not as straight as I wished them to be but it might have been my own doing! All in all, happy purchase! :)

This is the first relaxer that I have used that hasn’t burnt my scalp or thinner my hair. The fact that’s pre mixed means it takes minutes to apply, there’s no mixing or mess, no wastage and the ‘average’ mix means that you can decide how long you want to leave it on for. Also you can use normal shampoo to wash it out and it’s all out in two washes whereas the mixed stuff can up to 4/5 washes to get fully out. I left in for 12 mins and my hair came out beautifully. Really pleased and still have two further applications left. I remember when I first went to states 30 years ago and TCB was the brand everyone used. Really glad that I’ve found it again - does a fantastic job. Very pleased.
